I used to live back on 48th and Parrish street from 1975 to 1979 and then I live with a cousin and his family back on 49th and Brown Street from 1979 to 1984 and then his stepmother later bought a house back on 51st and Hazel Avenue and we ended up moving thereand living there from 1984 up into 2020 because I know those areas very well because today I can ride an electric mountain bike all throughout West Philadelphia and still could remember the houses that I once lived in through the decades.

Drexel Hill is nice. It’s clean and quiet and nothing like West Philadelphia. Drexel Hill is close to West Philadelphia. There is an area called Overbrook that has a street called Drexel Road , it’s a very nice area and that area is part of West Philadelphia. But I think Drexel Hill is above Upper Darby. Not all of West Philadelphia looks like the video. There is the nice artistic and village like area of University City too. Even 52nd street is getting regentrified. Anything from 52nd to 63rd is rough in West and Southwest Philadelphia.
Looking at a spot near 53rd near Springfield is it decent area? more worried about my car then anything just need a temporary efficiency apartment for like 6-8 months and found a spot there seems cheap enough. Appreciate the help

Southwest Philadelphia is generally pretty good. However, you're within ear shot of very violent neighborhoods and woodland ave is no walk in the park.
