I was so dry for so long, and that relapse needed to happen. Today I had the most meaningful worship time that I've ever had. I wasn't singing about God, but I was singing to Him. While I cannot fathom the cost fully...paid in full! He spoke these words about Mary, "She loved much, because she was forgiven much." I've always loved that, but today I love much, because I see what I'm forgiven for, and it is much! Yahweh bless you DD guys. I've been down with the Down for a long time. Not to many bands that I cam sincerely feel their love for the Master in the music! Look forward to hearing some new stuff.

Close enough. Metal doesn't have to be extremely heavy, to be honest. Look at bands like Sabbath and early metal bands; by today's standards, they're not actually very heavy at all, yet no one questions the fact that they're metal. It's more about the spirit behind the music than the actual sound. Yeah, that heavier edge does need to be present, but to me, metal is any heavier music that has energy and passion in their music that typical rock lacks.
I've found this to be a confusing subject thanks to more modern sub-genres.. Originally, Rock and Metal were distinct, but thanks to sub-genres like Alt-metal, Hard-rock, Nu-metal, and post-grunge, it's now a grey area, so "This is/isn't metal" is pretty much a never ending argument.
It’s a damn shame that you guys aren’t bigger than what you are. Not only do you have awesome music and you clearly all are extremely talented,but you’re also bringing the message of Christ to a world in DESPERATE need of it...probably has a lot to do with why you’re not more popular,right? I was highkey heart broken when Austin left and I didn’t listen to this band for at least a year after he left. He was my favorite member and the band allowed me to survive my teenage years. I slowly got back into this band, hearing Aaron take over both roles were incredible. Air 1 had a really great era of music in the mid 2000’s. I tune in still every once and while and the music just doesn’t hit like this stuff. Old Kutless, Switchfoot, 1000 Foot Krutch man what a great rocking era for Christ. Air 1 introduced me to so many great musical artists.

As a believer I don't know how I just found this song 3 months ago, its already been #1 on my Spotify repeat playlist pretty much when I found it. Even as a hard rock banger this song is, it brings me to tears some days.
I was highkey heart broken when Austin left and I didn’t listen to this band for at least a year after he left. He was my favorite member and the band allowed me to survive my teenage years. I slowly got back into this band, hearing Aaron take over both roles were incredible. I don’t know if it’s true but several months later I started hearing some conflicting allegations about Austin.. true or not, am glad to have Aaron. His voice is incredible! ❤

Air 1 had a really great era of music in the mid 2000’s. I tune in still every once and while and the music just doesn’t hit like this stuff. Old Kutless, Switchfoot, 1000 Foot Krutch man what a great rocking era for Christ. Air 1 introduced me to so many great musical artists.
What happened to the station?
@slickricky55 They focus more on worship music now instead of alternative Christian music. I discovered a lot of great bands
@@slickricky55 What Notthefbi said. They moved away from the contemporary music and focused more towards worship. I think some of the bands moved away from the harder rock and focused more on the worship side as well.
This song is about addiction but this song came to me when I lost my brother and lyrics were always on point with what I was dealing with...still a good song 7 years later...
