#April #Unemployment #Jobs
3.9% raise is still below inflation. most people are losing money.
🤣😅😂 Unemployment rates and inflation are two different things son. The problem with all you clowns is that you brag about your home price going up...but that eventually means everything else goes up. A good economy result in inflation.
I don't think these numbers take into account the number of people looking for work but can't find one...
They can't find one because they don't have enough skills.
These numbers are made up.
It does. However, it doesn't count the people who've stopped looking
or whose unemployment ran out.
You have to look at the labor participation rates.... They're lying about the numbers
You think? That's new! 🙄
Where are these added jobs coming from? Is it additional jobs or just people getting fired and backfilled
They will not tell the whole truth, spin and lie
Give us the " whole truth" while you can't get off of your phone.
Like we no longer calculate unemployment rates the same as we used to. And if we did, the unemployment rate is over 24%.
@@williamshaw5388how do you figure?
And you will?
@@yvonneplant9434 Truth is Biden lied about transitory inflation and the unemployment rate was 3.5% in Feb 2020 under Trump according to the BLS website.
They stop counting people unemployed after 1 year. Lots of people are still struggling to find work.
The labor participation rates are generally the same regardless of uneployment rate.
These are new jobs, so what you say is irrelevant and dumb.
I’ve been looking for an entry level job for almost 6 months now, there lying to our faces
I wish I could see the amount of Dislikes given to videos about the economy right now, unfortunately TH-cam took that power away from us, because they think they can cause us to believe we're doing better than ever before, as long as they take away any insight or information we need, and tell us YOU'RE DOING GREAT
it's 0 (I know because I have the dislike extension for chrome)
@@TheChoujinVirus I downloaded it, and thanks for telling me about it.. although I find it odd it says 0 Dislikes, while I myself disliked it, it should at the very least be 1
@@Shaun-Vargas It's for dislikes by people using the app.
@@Myndir that makes sense, thanks
And those so called jobs are part-time positions
Source?
Unemployment is up and so is inflation
Not all who lost jobs can claim unemployment, and many are likely not counted. Also, some positions get posted on multiple platforms/recruitment agencies and reposted every few weeks. There are so many duplicate postings for the same positions. Some job postings are just to have applicants in the pipeline when the position is not even approved to exist yet. Good luck to all who are hunting jobs.
i totally agree, you have 10 recruiters contact you for the same job over several days
Since October of last year till today we have lost over 3 million jobs PER MONTH every month we lost 3 million
People love to brag about their home prices and wages going up....but that also means everything else goes up. A good economy results in higher prices.
Really? 😂
The media shouldn't be allowed to even use the words, rate cuts.
If society was a bit more tolerable then the boss from a corporation should knock on your door and say: Hey on Monday you will work for me and I won't take no for an answer. That should happen, but unfortunately it doesn't.
23% of working aged Americans are unemployed. Of the 207,406,609 working age Americans, 159,600,000 of them are actually employed. Stop saying the unemployment rate is 3.9% when 23% of working aged Americans don't have a job, in an economy where all individuals are expected to work just to make ends meet, whether they are partnered or not.
So down from 27% during the Trump years?
News anchor happy people are unemployed whats new
We made 179k jobs in april
But lost 3.24 million jobs 🤔
Thats means we lost over 3 million jobs in the U.S
I am on month 9 since my layoff and I know plenty of people who have been dealing with one for over a year now. It's rough out there! I am noticing less and less openings for jobs in my field and salaries for them dropping since I think they know people are desperate to take whatever they can get.
Just got layoff a month ago
Social media, even here on TH-cam are littered with people saying they can't find jobs.
Very scientific!
This is not accurate
175,000 "jobs"
It has been one month I am looking for job I have update my CDL with X end I have applied for many job in my city San Diego and all US OTR but I didn't get zero answer
Those jobs don’t count unless they are offering you at least 60k a year and about the unemployment people just gave up on looking for jobs that pay at least 60 K year
This is good and the feds should cut interest rate soon.
But what kinda jobs are they talking about
Bs
Its ghostjobs
This does not take in account those that cant find a job and those working part time, that is a huge segment. The economy is not good and will get worse, layoffs are coming, housing market is showing slowdown, most people cant pay the asking prices for homes now. It takes 2 large incomes to afford average home now, 1 person is laid off, its foreclosures. Prices have gone up on everything too fast last 31/2 years, incomes have not, that = recession.
Can't work just one of them to sustain oneself though
Sauce?
Us economy handed 175000 jobs however only 10 of those jobs paid a liveable wage additionally they must be counting onlyfans jobs
Enough about yourself! 😎
Onlysimps
THEY COUNT über and door dash as "jobs". real unemployment rate is 2-3x that number
Nice cope.
So so strong so so strong bidenomics are so so strong
Bidenomics
fake number
The unemployment rate is actually 7.7% if you use the real figures .
maybe even 15%
What makes those figures real?
Note that these stats are for new jobs, not the unemployment rate, so nothing you have said undermines the point of the story. Sorry.
BS
Absolutely! We don't believe these government numbers. We only believe it when Trump puts out the numbers. And, we are not in a cult!
The US report demonstrates 3.9% unemployment; here is the problem:
Welfare recipients currently: 18%
Homeless currently: 7.4%
Actual unemployment is between 7.4%
and 18%
If you are going to look at joblessness, let's use reality.
Only low paying part time jobs.
Sauce?
Lies!
Prove it! 😂
@@zxasdfx Proof is all around you! Stop being oblivious!
@@Ms.ZachiaJohnson-Moses1992 Great answer! (it's called "chickening out") 😂
@zxasdfx No, it isn't. It's called "you trolling around"!
@@Ms.ZachiaJohnson-Moses1992 That's also a great answer! It's called "still not giving the proof"!!! 😂
3.9% unemployment rate of what ?
It was more like the rate of 3.9% represented those workers who lost their jobs but were qualified for social security checks, ...that was 3.9%
I call it gaslighting.
And what you are doing is called sticking your head in the sand. It's when you ignore things you don't want to hear.
@@Myndir speak for yourself 🤓 🖕
Eat the rich
That’s because people need more than one job
Only jobs available are food service jobs , retail
Athletes can't be automated.
@@palmshoot Give Boston Dynamics a few more years.
You need to pull yourself by the bootstraps! Stop depending on government, you leech!
@@somuchfortalent That misses the point of why humans watch sports. While there are robots that play team sports today, they don't age in the same way human bodies do, and they don't have stories behind them like human athletes. Could you imagine sneakerheads clamoring for kicks named after a robot?
Scared of hard work? Construction jobs are doing great right now.
bidenomics, everyone will have 2-3 jobs.
And still can't afford the cost of living
But what kinda jobs are they talking about
