dependin on how the viltrumites come at him.
A whole invasion would pose a challenge solely because of numbers but if he can somehow manage to fight them one by one, no way any viltrumite can beat him.

Nolan really doesn't do much. He'd give him a fight right off the bat due to the Omni man being aggressive, but pretty soon supes would take note and wash his hands of him really quick

Homelander is completely outmatched here fighting against two veterans who have been fighting most of their lives,whereas Omni-Man would give Superman a tough fight seeing as he wouldn’t be holding anything back because he doesn’t care how many innocents would be injured or killed during the fight. But in the end the Big Blue Boy Scout would come out on top.
Right, he explained this to Ultraman. Basically, Superman was better because he didn't just go for the kill. Villains would come back more prepared, and Superman would be forced to up his skills. That's what made him better.

This is basically the final fight in Son of Godzilla.
Godzilla shows up to save his son and battles a giant spider named Kumonga in a long battle, and then a giant mantis named Kamacuras shows up, tries to join, gets webbed up and poisoned by Kumonga without even getting to fight.
This is superman. Not just powerful, but not a murderer.
Okay, that was awesome. Especially Superman no-selling Homelander's eye beams and then humiliating him.
Homelander all swooping in after Supes just trashed Omni-man, thinking he's going to actually do anything at all 😂
In a alternate universe, Superman saves Invincible from Omni-Man 💯

If you really want, it's possible.
Inside of supermassive black holes, there could be a hypothetical "inner" horizon where the fundamental laws of the universe finally break down (rather than the event horizon where light and such just can't escape anymore). Within that inner-horizon, there could be a kind of "reflection" of this universe. At the boundary of that inner-horizon, the reflection is perfect. Determinate, in perfect sync with this reality.
But farther in, it becomes distorted, little by little. At a certain point, the "reflection" functionally becomes an independent reality. But rather than spawning a bunch of different realities from the differences, it's more like that reality has minor differences throughout but mostly remains centered on what's being reflected.

Finally, just before the deepest heart of it all...the reflection is so distorted that you get the sorts of nightmare realms of stories. Lovecraftian shit...Hellraiser...Event Horizon...Warhammer 40k kind of shit. After that, all bets are off. Things are so distorted that there's no "reality" down there anymore. It's just the naked singularity...a realm of perfect, chaotic equilibrium...the very state of existence in the moment before the Big Bang.
So...somewhere, in that unified space between all supermassive black holes, is an illusory universe where all of this kind of shit has happened.
And...that's about as close to a real "multiverse" as you're ever gonna get.

It is actually accurate for what Superman can handle both Omni man and homelander, in one hand Omni Man would definitely put up a good fight, but the other hand Homelander will not put any much effort on the man of steel, but if it was injustice Superman he would definitely murder both of them. And let's not forget he would feed Homelander his heart out without mercy

The music is a bit loud compared to the dialogue but other than that this was great, really embodied the personalites of each supe. Homelander flying in posed like jesus fits his character 100%; i can totally see the inspiration behind the whole thing.

Yeah, although the depiction of his power varies wildly, the higher dipictions of Superman are basically infinite and limitless. That said, as a result his story coherency is all over the place because his fiction can't stick with the precedents it sets, whereas Homelander and Omniman are pretty solid in that respect.

I don't even disagree with how much of a problem Omniman gives Superman. Omniman is a killer, so he's going full-out the entire time. Supes is holding back throughout the fight, so it LOOKS a lot closer than it ever really is. Omniman never had a chance, but Supes wouldn't just outright kill him, even though it's easily within his capabilities to do so.
Poor Homelander is just plain fucked.
Omni man would fold Homelander like a piece of paper..the same is what superman would do to Omni man. If it were real Omni man wouldn't even be able to land a finger on him. But there's different levels to this lol. Supes is an alien, so is Omni man, Homelander came out of a bottle in a test lab 🥴

It’s hard to compare Characters from comics that had limited runs with a single serious story line. To a character that has been around for almost 100 years with storylines that started as being able to only jump as high as a building and move at the speed of sound…. To things as absurd as sneezing universes away.
I agree that Homelander doesn’t stand a chance against Supes (Clark didn’t even really use his nigh-Flash speed, for example), I’m not so sure he’d take out Omni so quickly. I think that would have gone down to the wire, but Omni has shown a hot temper on several occasions, and Superman generally keeps his cool.
Kinda depends on the version of superman we are talking about. If we set the scene as them being physically equal ( with sups only physical advantage being his heat vision) Nolan would completely steamroll Superman simply cuz he has an order of magnitude more expierience with fighting others like him, the thing is that most versions of superman are orders of magnitude more powerfull than viltrumites

Homelander scares me because he’s not above using any weakness he can find and exploit. If he somehow got his hands on kryptonite he wouldn’t hesitate even a second to use that to rip Supes apart.
Considering Superman once lifted a kryptonite island, I don't think it would really help Homelander. Worse if it's Kingdom Come Superman.

Omni Man and Homelander would be better matches for Shazam, and Superman has already been shown to be FAR more powerful than Shazam. Supes could defeat both, at the same time.
Absolutely not. Shazam is shown to be ON PAR with Superman. The Injustice fiasco was a load of badly written horse shit that only exists because 1.) they needed to show that Superman was beyond redemption, and 2.) they needed to get rid of (one of) the only superhero(es) that stood a good chance of stopping Superman, but they couldn't write a legit battle so they went with dumb ass machina.

I keep saying this: maybe the only one who could have a slim chance against Superman is Thragg. MAYBE. A slim chance of hurting Superman. Even so, not even Thragg could kill Superman. Although his brute strenght and brutality are astonishing, he wouldn't be able to kill Superman. Superman is just too powerful. That's all. He's too powerful and literally fought beings more powerful than viltrumites.

Omni-man and Superman is a good matchup. Omni-man has 1000 years of experience fighting guys roughly equal to his strength. The problem he faces, is Superman has fought stronger foes... And won. Given he goes toe-to-toe with villains of Darkseid teir (who is an immortal deity-type figure), the experience factor just isn't quite enough to matter in the long run.

Brightburn is a kid. Its like a kid attacking a grown adult. Its annoying but one punch and they are down for the count. Supes wont even bother hurting Brightburn and just restrain him until he can figure out where to keep him while they decide what to do with him.
I mean, he IS a kid so there is hope he could be rehabilitated, right?
