Actually, $200 per pound is cheap. I paid $5.99 per pound at my local supermarket here in FL, and they are quite small and not as fresh. Sweet potatoes ain’t sweet and plantains not fully grown. Nice to see such abundance of vegetables and seafood

You pay a leg and arm for fish here in Nj. People do not buy, the fish left till they are first bite. Thanks for the video

The first thing that caught my attention: anybody else surprised that eddoes are $200 per pound? And the same for sweet potatoes and plantains. That seems very high. With the new-found petrodollars, is a typical middle-management government/private sector salary about US$ 3,000 (or GY 625,463) per month? Except for the first few minutes of the man selling provision from his truck on the roadside, I just scrolled through the rest of the video.

I was there in feb of this year. I priced a gilbaka head just the head from the lady in the yellow shirt, and the woman wanted $60,000 GYD you could see the dishonesty in her face when she told me the price. Anyway, the new lenora market looks wonderful. You should check it out, sir.

why are persons still selling on the road? i thought the reason of the renovated market was to get everyone to sell inside the market..
