Really nice to see that old girl still well capable of pulling that ripper. It's a nicely kept example of a 4955. I used to have all the brochures on the deer rang from the mid 80s.
One of the best tractors JD made. I run a 4960. Put a full set of weights on the front, add water to the rear tires (if not in there already), grab about 3 more gears and let that baby eat!
Ran a 4955 on a 1084 Brent on wheat harvest. The truck driver was a good pump turner upper. That tractor would sing. 6” of flames and a cherry red exhaust was a great thing.😂 still my favorite sound guard.

U cheating with those wheels on there sock it to the frame no sir i was just kidding with that been there done that they will overload a. 200 horse tractor ive pulled one with a 4955 too but it was just two wheel drive and there was places that killed that tractor it was so dam hard of ground
