@@dkblade27 hey yeah so great question- just 3 months ago when my 2-year lease was expiring, I looked within a ~25-block radius of the hospitals I work at (I currently live directly across the street from the middle hospital) and there wasn’t anything under $2400, all with much less amenities. Being that I’m still on primary call 5-7 times a month this year and always get called in at 1,2,3am, I thought it’s best I keep this location for the lack of better options. I pay for the amenities (laundry in-building, small fitness room, studio with windows) instead of for need of more room space cuz I prioritize saving time during residency

Juan, I watch you almost everyday and I have nothing but love for you, but as a NYC resident born and raised I have to say respectfully what you did with that cop was a big no no. If he or someone else looked at the wrong moment it could've been misinterpreted as an intention to pull the gun from his holster which could have inadvertently gotten you in trouble or worse, hurt.
I'll also add that those glocks don't have traditional safeties. I understand in other states guns are considered generally safe to be around as long as they are in the right hands but here the general understanding is that if its not a cop with a gun you better run. That's what my wife said to me because I'm from California my wife was born in Columbia her mother took her to the Bronx in New York she grew up there she worked in the world trade center the twin towers and the number one building in the sixty-fifth floor and my wife is 4 ft 11 in and she managed 50-plus people but her mother couldn't handle the weather anymore and they moved to California and I married her in 94 and she was killed by a doctor in 2020 and Saint Mary's hospital denied her healthcare and the third time she went brain-dead I blame the doctor and I blame the hospital and I got nothing from it but she paid our house off in 10 and a half years I've been blessed beyond what I could ever imagine and I will always miss my wife forever because she did not have to die but life can be so cruel sometimes and I will always walk in the way the Lord would want me to walk so I may have a chance to go through the Gates of heaven and may God bless you
