The intro was so languorous, I expected the pianist to pull the orchestra with him, but Mr. Borovitzky actually kept the original tempo. For the first time, I could hear every note the piano sounded, clearly and carefully played. Very Bachian. And magnificent.

WOW! Great performance! This concerto sounds and looks difficult, "heavy" and very demanding to whoever concert pianist plays this! The pianist must be very brave and very talented to perform this. Mr. Borovitzky at his age (more or less 24) did it excellently! The videos of the 2nd and 3rd Movements are superb too!

I loved your handling of the Bach D minor concerto and admire your treatment of this very different work. This was a great-hearted performance, fearless in your treatment of the first movement's grandeur, drama and spirituality. There was also an almost playfulness, too, in the deft lightness of the semi-quaver passages in the central section. Good to see a young pianist courageous enough to field rubato with confidence in a way reminiscent of great artists of the past such as Rubenstein and Katchen. The world needs to hear more from you! Best wishes from Edinburgh.
