There’s nothing like the UDR really out there. Yeah sure she’s not as durable as most of the other RCs out there. But the scale and realism makes the UDR a class of its own.
SBR is way better in my opinion! I recently had a udr with upgrades I got in a trade I really regret trading it because I did a comparison on the them, and the SBR ate the udr!!
Nice! I love my UDR. It has everything I look for. Realistic looks and good performance. For speed or bashing I lean towards Arrma Mojave or just my regular Slash. I can see people going for the Maxx Slash though.
Udr for scale realistic driving( No bashing) must have gearing correct because it'll break if you full throttle and stop constantly. Slash you can bash on and doesn't have scale handling.so if your going to go all out throttle and stop and tend to bas slash will be yiur best routes if you drive udr like a scale car it'll be just fine. Plenty of youtube vids available to demonstrate the dos and don't of Udr😊😊
My UDR = vitavon alu chassis fits 8s, hobbywing 4990 + hobbywing esc, alu gearbox and rear axle…… can do 75mph and is now bullet proof unless you hit a wall at full speed. Great video.
You can upgrade the motors in the udr. And have it built to the hilt. Everyone I personally know are getting to sell their max slash due to how it handles and breaks. Probably should have driven it at least before you did a review.
@@giostealthr1 switch the springs to the stock maxx v2 springs night and day difference they are a half inch longer similar spring rates and it doesnt bottom out and is still plush with half the preload .
The UDR is for slashing and the Slash maxx is for bashing. And also the UDR is in limbo and probably will be discontinued, they changed or updated their whole product line except the UDR. Will they do it? I don't think so.
@@giostealthr1 I don't beat the Udr like a basher I drive it and its great on hard pack and low pile grass rolling hills like a golf course or a school yard with a baseball field
The UDR is scale racing fun. I've got the XMaxx for the all out do what you're not supposed to do.

My SBR eats UDRs for breakfast.
Agreed

What I would like to see is a scale bug or Class 1 baja buggy from Traxxas like the UDR. Now that would be amazing.
I wouldn’t be surprised if Traxxas does that - they did make the mud boss
I have a udr and I wouldn't trade it for that car at all
The UDR is a totally different RC. It drives a lot more realistically.

Hmmm possible I might do that
For the money definitely Mojave 6S.
Ok, I guess I made a good choice with the UDR. Thanks everyone.
After owning a udr it sucks. I sold it and now will buy the maxx slash or sledge
What I want to know is which one has the best suspension. From what I see, the UDR has far superior suspension. Is this the case?
I will have to give the UDR the better suspension
No need for sway bars if you throw a wide maxx kit on it.

I drove my friends and it drives very much like a slash. But it definitely needed the swaybar.
The Slash is way to low. No clearance and alot o of chassis slap. UDR all day.
I wonder if you threw thicker shock oil if that would help it

I think them upgrading the UDR will not happen as well. It really is a matter of time.
UDR, because that trophy truck it look real trophy truck.
9:33 same buddy i just make for fun and what ever music i think goes with it
I bought the maxx slash right when they came out. I love it but I always wanted a udr as well so I bought one today
Excellent I think the UDR is a great buy
The Arma senton and Mojave
senton ( not a fan ) Mojave ( fan )
@@giostealthr1 The original Senton was better on 6s. I still have two of them.
Udr isn't a shortcourse truck
hey beta.. wrong... its not 70mph out of the box!!!
I’m sorry would you like me to donate to you ?
buy Both i did its the only right choice to make .. they each do things a little different
Agreed

Id take a mojave 6s over the slash any day far better handling and bang for buck.. Traxxas price gouge the hell out of people!
i would like to see a slash go 100 mph , they get lift off at 55.
You would have to set the shocks at at least 100 weight. Strap it down. Gearing and ESC would need to be changed out. It should be able to break 100.
@@giostealthr1 maybe, but I would be very shocked if it didn't fly up in the air even with it strapped down. Maybe if you added weight to the front.
@@Mnoel79 should I try ?
@@giostealthr1 yes !

I really like the looking scale of the udr and more with the Fox body nice video bro 👌
Glad you like it
