The movie's timeline was explained in Kamen Rider Geats: Final Stage, which took place between the final episode and the movie. Basically at the end of the stage show, everybody regained their memory of Ace for good.
It's the same thing with True Ending and RealXTime. The Geats movie takes place sometime after the show ended.

Oh, I wasnt confused even tho I didn't watch final stage, because doesn't it show Keiwa still had his ID core at the end of thd final episode?
But even without this context I thought it was fine. Jean's words in the final ep was that they are starting a new DGP, so the start being his game made sense. Also, since its a new DGP, it felt natural to have the star riders of the previous season of DGP be picked once more, likely by the same supporters too
This movie actually did make me cry with the whole Heart Ace aspect and genuinely became one of my favorite movies of all time.

the movie mostly is a Ace character analysis. Some people will think Ace is just an Mary Sue, strong smart and too powerful. But the movie re-contextualize that Ace is not just the strenght, Wisdom, or even luck. He is the way he is thanks to his heart, it’s the heart that drives him since the ancient time to where he is today. this also relates to the theme of Kamen rider that the heart and soul of your action matters the most.

Honestly I love this movie for just bringing it back to the days where Kamen Rider Movies could just be really fun and not too serious and focused on continuity. It also just has some really good moments with all the Riders where everyone gets to shine in some way. Even Tsumuri gets to dropkick a main villain, that alone makes me happy. Geats Oneness also just looks like a really sick Continuation for Geats IX even if it's a retool. I think it also just fits in that really nice gap between the Crossover Movie and Geats. I'm kinda mad that Takahashi has gotten away with recycling Ichigata so many times and yet every time it still looks good. It shouldn't fit XGeats so well but him being a bastardized Retool actually really works with the character as kind of this antithesis of Ace.
The story is creative and unique. The fight scene and choreography are cool as always. The Oneness looks pretty good. The villain is fine. 9/10 movie.
Will point out that Ziin was setting up a DGP at the end of series and asked Tsumuri to be the navigator. This could be that game bringing in the others to test things out before pulling new people in.

This movie gave us the scene of Ace chucking his Magnum Buckle like a caveman throwing a rock, and Buffa looking on in utter bewilderment.
This movie is perfect.
Not going to lie. Seeing X-Geats throw an entire couch at Geats and not only did he catch it he sat in it. It remind me in Devil May Cry 4 when Dante did something similar. Geats and Kamen Rider in general gives off a HARD Devil May Cry feel when it comes to style.😂

2 words. FUCK YES. this was a joy ride the entire time and a fantastic send off to geats and the other riders i love how silly the villain is it adds an extra level of character for what could have been just another standard evil rider i highly recommend this film
Just watched the movie. Great acting, great action, great SUITS and a not so focused, but very entertaining story. That’s Geats for ya.
The gotchard Cameo feels like it’s a season hotaro especially since daybreak has been telling him to learn alchemy. But him being daybreak is also a fantastic theory
I like to think that it's the Gotchard from right before he evolved into Daybreak and maybe that's how he figured out the Time Travel bit could work by testing full dimension travel. Honestly that's my personal theory because he seems way more competent than Hotaro is in the series until he got Fire Gotchard at least. So what if this is the Future Gotchard before everything went to shit? Maybe this was the Future Gotchard just before Minato betrayed them and the reason why he seems so much stronger than he is in the series is because he literally is. Just like how Zi-O's cameo in Build shows him being more proficient because it's actually middle or after series Sougo coming back.
It also has just enough plausible deniability that this Future Hotaro could be from anywhere before Daybreak, and thus not cause any weird retcons later like they had to do to explain Build showing up in Ex-Aid. That's probably gonna be my headcanon, because even if this is an early bird appearance where everything isn't finalized this Gotchard knows way too much to be Hotaro at the point that he originally got Madpirates.
@@Zeromaru42 true, I like the daybreak idea a whole helleva lot better honestly. But I also wanna have hope that Current Gotchard will mature into a confident alchemist and we begin to see him with the daybreak confidence in a new universe.
The movie is worth, because everyone finally gets to poke fun at ace

Just a quick word, I'm fairly new to Rider series, to date I've only watched a handful of series and own no merchandise from any season. But when I saw that Black Fox motif it was instant love. I bought my first driver and have started Geats out of the order I wanted to try to stick to, it's so gorgeous I need to make a cosplay.
I did also think about the 4 Aces transforming into different ace variants, I think fitting transformations would be
Strength: Geats 9(since all of ace’s power goes to him)
Luck: Fever
Heart: LazerBoost(because it was unlocked by geats’ heart, and got lazer by winning over Ziin, like he does with his friends later in the movie)
Wisdom: Magnum(he should have geats' fighting style)

My view of the movie timeframe wise is that it does take place after the events of the show entirely. Because if memory serves Zhin stated there were plans for the future people to create a new DGP where people could participate without the "goddess of creation" nonsense. So it's not outside the realm of reason for this movie to occur in the aftermath of that, presumably with Zhin running the game since he developed the empathy for those from the past.
As for the characters remembering... well, Neon was hanging out with Kyunn, so my assumption would be that at least the main trio kept their memories and thus are still in-contact with future people (since Neon's dialogue implies she remembers Kyunn's note-writing habit as well).
"Maybe the real highlight was the friends we made along the way" - That's basically the general plot of this movie.
one thing I found out is that all Riders using Ridechemy Cards have some sort of a "reactor" somewhere on their chest. We have this with Gotchard, Majade, Valvarad, Dread, and even Legend somewhat.
It's possible that the "ridebook" on Geats Oneness chest is the same reactor thingy because he did technically use a Ridechemy Card.
To me, the movie is a great one that helps the others understand Ace a bit more.

Another thing about the supplementary material, it revealed that Mela and Melo also encountered Kouta (Gaim) though their battle ended in a draw
They couldn't beat Gaim, yet they thought it was a good idea to take Geats.
I watched the movie recently, i must say its...... alright , nothing too extraordinary , not a bad movie , just fun and wacky , tho i wish punkjack, lopo, and keilow got more action. Gotchard's introduction here is great, and displayed his knowledge of alchemy better than the main series. The oneness geats form is cool tho i kinda wish they didnt use it for this movie but for the crossover with gotchard due to the use of blank chemy. And i also notice that fantasy nago was absent here tho i guess they already shoot this movie first before it's debut
Overall, its entertaining but nothing special about it, i'll give it a score : 7/10
Learning the Future People were digital beings makes a lot of sense since we've seen when they die they glitch into data and fade away in the series and the way their Kamen Rider forms come together as data blocks. It also adds to them saying the can choose how they look cause they're literally CAC characters and explains why they can't have children with past people because they don't have actual physical bodies anymore they're just constructs made to mimic one's
i liked the movie. The Geats Oneness form is really cool. I didn't by the Geats belt, but i did buy the Oneness buckle. The Chemy card is the match up to the Geats EX Chemy card on the Geats belt, and i was able to pull that from a booster box. So i wanted the Oneness card to go with it.
Yes, it's worth.
I love this movie a lot, it has many points that made the movie great. My only criticism about this movie is with x geats. The suit was basically design for a much more darker character but instead they gave it to a clown.

I thought the movie was good even though I have my nitpicks with mostly the villains and how we should’ve had more time with the other Aces. Other than that it was nice to see the characters again and how we kinda got deeper to Ace’s character. Overall, a 7.5/10 for me.
I think that the reason why there's another DGP is that Ace got bored being a Desire Deity but not doing anything at all since there's no treat at the moment so he started a new DGP that's like the og DGP where it's just purely for glory and fun...and maybe to prepare the Kamen Riders for future treats.
Anyways, I love this movie. It's not perfect but I enjoyed it a lot. It's kinda disappointing tho that Fantasy and Kamen Rider Slayer(Buffa's wish form) forms weren't in the movie, and that Loppo and Keilow doesn't have new buckles... But it's just some nitpicks. I still loved the movie.
XGeats is also a reference to the real life Cross Fox, a more melanistic variant of the Red Fox we all know.

I didn’t think I got the chance to watch this movie when I did, yet I managed to do so. So now, I’m going to shed my own thoughts on it.
My short answer is: I liked it. It your usual fun summer movie that doesn’t push itself to an incredible high, but is still entertains nonetheless.
In particular, I really liked the concept of breaking down Ace’s true characteristics, and I love how Geats Oneness is a culmination of his full character arc of how his heart of Justice on top of the friends that were by his side are what make up his most powerful form.
Oh yes, I finally finished the show proper.
It’s an easy pick for one of my top 5 favorite rider shows.

I love KR Geats, but this movie was just Okay to me. I didn't liked the villain, some kind of Joker ripoff. And was like highlighting something so obvious. Yes, Ace is good and he's personalty goes beyond being op and smart, we know. It wasn't necessary to make a whole movie about it...
