Is it just me...or does this Buffalo team feel like the most COMPLETE team in the league? Literally every member contributes.
And this is WITHOUT three of our best defensive players. If Milano makes it back for the playoffs, oh man. Buffalo is going to rumble.
They sure are playing like that right now. "Everyone Eats" is both for the offense and the defense. Really complementary, unselfish team.

Josh Allen is great but kudos to Brandon Beane and Sean McDermott. The fact that the Bills can continue to lose key guys and not miss a beat speaks to the depth they have created with the roster. They just know how to find good football players.

I had this feeling on Sunday watching some of that horrible football by so many teams. I felt depressed watching it because it reminded me of the old Bills games where a Sunday was all hope but you knew it wasn’t gonna be good.
@@ThuDude1 The most fascinating thing about the Bills’ approach is that they are doing this with late round low cost picks. This is more sustainable than the teams that have expensive super stars that leave for money. This is a truly organically built team and Beane and McDermott are locked into long term deals.

That was a good old fashioned butt whoopin’. Josh looked stellar. The team was dialed in. And we get Milano and Bernard back mid-season. The real test is this three-game road trip, and of course KC, but if this roster can stay healthy and play up to this standard, it’s gonna be a great season. GO BILLS!
Enormous credit to the coaches. They constantly identify late round picks with good character and develop them into reliable over-achievers. Beane and McDermott have really built something great. The most remarkable thing about their approach is that it is, in theory, quite sustainable. Contrast this approach to the 49rs or the Jets, spending big on superstars that will break the bank.
Protection of Josh this year is amazing. If they can keep that O line locked, they are unstoppable! Go BILLS!!

After years on listening to Joe’s extensive knowledge on everything Bills, the biggest take away for me is “don’t ride the rollercoaster”. This was one of the most complete performances I’ve seen the Bills put together. The national media will crown them AFC champions and nailed on to make it to the SB. They’ll be a few bumps in the road to come. Keep the feet on the ground and keep working hard and smart.

Glad to see our depth getting a chance to play. These reps are huge for guys like Grable, Bishop, and even Elam.
This season so far feels like a “fruit of the labor” moment. For years now the Bills have been so close to putting it all other, and finally they feel like they are in the verge of breaking out. That’s crazy to even say, considering how good they’ve been, but this really feels like the end of the “13 seconds” era and the beginning of the “everybody eats” era:
Everyone has been sleeping on shakir. Even you weren’t ready to admit what he was. He's going to be something special for years to come. Every time he gets the ball in his hands, good things happen!

Was saying it all last year.... Ken Dorsey hardly used him...You could see it in his first year too... Eric Moulds has really helped him in the off-season too... Fantastic hands and excellent balance.... Way underrated..

I haven't always been a fan of McDermott and his in-game coaching decisions, but I have to give this man major credit for what he has done with this team, especially the D 👏👏

Allen has moved to another level. He was really commanding the offense last night. They got rid of some of the other team leaders, some of who were a distraction... and allen has taken on the unquestioned field general role like a champ

I’ve been begging for years to give Josh Allen an offense where receivers can get run after catch with motion to get him some easy passes. It’s finally happened. I feel like the last 3 years, every play Josh Allen had to fit every pass in a tight window, even diggs would get a little separation and Josh would fit it in there
Been very critical of the coach. Bit just watching him demeanour vs say Mike McDaniel makes you realize how lucky we are to have such a mature coach. He looks like a CEO that way he stands on that sideline.

Joe, I wonder if you could do some analysis that highlights the degree to which the Bills have had success with late round picks compared to other winning teams. It would occur to me that this has contributed to the Bills sustained success over the last 5 years, which was emphasized on the Monday night broadcast. They seem to do more with less. In other words, why the SB window has not closed for the Bills.

Everyone just seems on the same page, both sides of the ball even working in unison…. offensive looked near unstoppable… and huge shout out to the Oline… they were giving Josh and the run game time and room… those guys played their tails off against an elite line on the other side well played but there is much more football to be played

Notice was served to every NFL defensive coordinator that they are going to have sleepless nights during Bills week.
I was worried that they were gonna be pigheaded and try to force the run against a stacked run def and they came out chucking the rock - brady is the real deal.
Well, aside from J.Allen, J.Cook is a preferred piece of this offense... And, if I may make a criticism of this game is why don't take these 2 to the bench earlier... The witch of the injury is always near... Go Bills! Loving what I am seeing!

I'm just concerned about the way Jacksonville was able to move the ball down the field with relative ease and score a touchdown to start off the second half. Most of Jacksonvilles offensive stalls were from self inflicted errors and alot of drops. Can we at least acknowledge the bills have some work to do on defense?

Excluding himself of course, Josh Allen completed passes to 20.8% of the gameday roster. That HAS to be an NFL record.
Record is 12, accomplished by a few teams. Like Joe said, the only skill players to not catch a ball last night were Morris and Gilliam. The possibility of more than 12 is there for teams that dress an extra wr or rb.....or even the possibility of an always popular big man grab!

One looming problem and its going to bite them in tge ass at some point - bass is washed, he struggles on almost every kick, they should have replaced him in the offseason. They are 3-0 but their schedule is tough, one more loss could make a huge difference, don't wait until he costs you a game to make a move. Most teams have kickers drilling 60 yd fgs and bass is struggling to hit xps. Hes a good guy and has had a good career but its time to upgrade at pk.

Except for John Gruden, many of the talking heads seemed to be piling on the underdogs. Like betting against Mahomes. Word is the sports books have been losing a lot of money. In some cases the sports books are closing down.

I’m positive on him and the team, but in the spirit of honesty Allen threw atleast three interception balls last night, the jags just didn’t bring them in
@DeepThinker-gc8nz it always seems to even itself out.....defenders dropping balls that shoulda been caught and tipped balls or bad routes that get picked. And the ones from Monday night weren't the ones that you really worry about......the real head scratchers that you find yourself yelling at the TV saying what were you thinking. Last night, there were just a couple to where he was doing what he does, move around the pocket and fit them into tight places, where 90% of the time it works out. Maybe how the game was going it wasn't necessary to take those chances, but when you're feeling it, you're feeling it, and that's why we love him.
