Treasure every minute with your loved one, if you find too many of your cares, and attentions, and too much time is now being occupied with other people, and things.. (like being on youtube too long!) realize time just leaves you, (23 years since this film) they will not be here forever, and you don't want to spend the rest of your life looking back remembering with regrets... Probably the most beautifully touching, surprising, horrifying, saddest, colorful, welcoming, happiest, scariest, foreboding, longing for, yet hopeful movies I'm ever seen. It makes me wonder what heaven is like. I want to see my dog Betsy again. I miss my grandpa and grandma. I miss my stepfather. I miss my great grandmother and grandfather. I have a lot of questions!

"What Dreams May Come" is a very touching picture about the life after death, starring the great Robin Williams. The musical score by Michael Kamen wasn't the first choice for the filmmakers. In fact, there has been a rejected score by Ennio Morricone. Suprisingly Kamen's score reminds me of the Morricone style sometimes. Coincidence? However, it is a fine, subtle and emotional score. Enjoy!

A couple months back I sat with what I still feel is my soulmate. It was her first time seeing it. I had decided to show her it as it was one of my favorites and I had seen it a hundred times with my mother when I was younger and wondered why she’d cry all the time. Now I know. I cried through out the entire movie. Beginning to end finally realizing why my mother had cried. I looked at my wife and knew I’d do the same for her. I’d walk through hell for her just to have a chance to get her back. He says a line that made us cry, if I can find you in hell don’t think I won’t find you in New Jersey. We’re both from jersey. Now we’re not together anymore and it makes me cry for another reason entirely. 😢

Der Schluss ist dafür wieder wunderschön,auch die wunderschöne Musik,die im Abspann noch einmal zur Gänze gespielt wird, wird zum Ohrwurm. 9:11 is probably the most ambitious French horn writing I’ve ever heard in a movie soundtrack. Michael Kaman was a genius. And then how he interwove Aaron Copland’s The promise of living was genius as well.
I can't believe that Rotten Tomatoes and the Roger Ebert website dog this movie so hard. I think the plot AND the imagery are amazing, moving, and complete
I adore this movie, for it's music, it's surprises, it's depth and the way it manages to grab me like no other film has. It saddens me deeply that we have lost Robin....but I'm greatful for what he has given us.

This movie was freacin odd. It was mesmerizing but really hard to understand. Hard to say was it intellectual or just naive.
