This DLC is no joke. Died like 15 times on the duration. Those Robots have no chill.

It fucks up my sniper stealth build. I'm forced to use close ranged weapons for this shit.
I just hack and shut down all the powerful robots and then deal with the weaker ones myself
Your not wrong i ran out of ammo at the boss fight very hard rarely is an issue but here in the dlc they are a bitch to fight i cowered in the corner and just barely survived the fight
Didn't die, but I was close a couple of times. Then I found out they suicide when losing their arms, then they were real easy.

Lol that would of been a funny twist, and i always wondered how the mechanist was able to collect so many resources to make new robots that blow up easy and don't produce any resources of their own. Makes sense now.

The difference being that you didn't have to go through a tedious super-quest that allowed you to use your imagination.

To everyone going on about beta, no I didn't get beta invite, Bethesda doesn't give a f*** about me. I have the season pass and the DLC is out already. Just like the game back in November it was released at midnight, so depending on timezone you're in, you might get it later, but it's out.

Theres a mod called tea party, it's really easy to use and let's you pick anyone as a follower and even more than one
I love this DLC, the fact that you can play along and act as a superhero in Fallout is simply awesome!

I can give you a tip on how to make a powerful Automaton
You need:
Laser Gatling (both arms)
Sentry arm (both arms)
Protectron head (basilisk armour for knockdown ability)
Protectron torso
Assaultron legs.
Voltaic armour on legs arms and torso.
Misc mod (Regen field)
(I used this combo and my automaton took out the ENTIRE BOS without me pulling the trigger once)

If you aim your scoped gun at the robots with the robotics perk, you can cause robots to explode or fight from you from far distances. You can essentially finish this entire quest without firing a single bullet

I was so glad they included the Shroud! I was wondering if anything would happen if I dressed as the Shroud and sure enough, much to my delight, it made the quest better! I wish more quests, if not all, let you speak as the Shroud. :D
Bro you decked Ada out!😂 To me it fits too. She was heartbroken she couldn’t protect her creator and friends when the mechanist bots attacked so the Sole Survivor makes her into an unstoppable badass with gatling guns and the shish-kebab flaming sword so she can be confident it’ll never happen again. Lol it’s like the ultimate glow up when facing the mechanist.

Great to see all this, I confronted him as Silver Shroud but I guess because I hadn't started the SS quests yet I didn't get any unique lines.
hi Fluffy-san just wanted to ask a few things. asides the gun in the video, did you find other unique weapons (like a melee/other), and which was your favorite? were there other unique items (bombs/armor/etc etc)? and is the dlc fun/worth getting?
I had my outfit on but it wouldn't let me get the dialogue, did I do something wrong or is this somekind of bug
+kirbthe7 Haven't done it myself but I'd assume you'd need the upgraded version from Kent Connolly, not the default found at Hubris. At that point it's assumed your character knows how to "speak as the Shroud".
If you've already got that version then I dunno. Complete Silver Shroud quest I guess. Or it's a bug.
