I currently own a 2017 A6 competition V6 supercharged s-line. Love the car, its ability to deal with our winter driving gets high marks. I can’t tell the difference from different model years, could do without a lot of the technology, and expensive 20” wheel package on it.🇨🇦
Owned the 2015 A6 for 2 years. It had crashy suspension, nervous on the motorway, very jittery on 18’s, used a tonne of ad-blue, expensive to service, wore out the front tyres quickly, hard leather seats. It wasn’t a bad car. I’d consider it an all rounder. Bmw 5 series g30 is leagues above far more comfortable even with 19’s, much more planted on the motorway, decently weighted steering wheel, leather seats are far more comfortable, after 11k miles have yet to top up the ad-blue. Comparing an S-Line Audi A6 2.0tdi with a BMW 5 series M Sport 520d. The Audi was more fuel efficient but the constant ad-blue top ups would negate that. The bmw is improving with the miles and the Idrive system is a lot better. I’m sure there’s a lot more tech available in the Audi now but I really can’t see myself going back. And first service bill on the Audi came up to £500 plus maintenance of £180 to replace an under-shield that had worn out and come off. Both of these cars maybe more comfortable on 18’s with softer / adaptive suspension. Gone are the days when my Astra with 15’s was considered a big wheel. 20’s maybe next, but wouldn’t mind 18’s with the right look.
Really loves how it looks but it's a shame it is less unique when it shares so many similiarities with the A7 and A8 and all three brands (Mercedes and BMW as well) do this. Annoying. Also, it has fake smaller grilles which is really not cool. But it's easily better than its rivals. Audi have proper quality, the plastics in Mercedes and BMW are often cheap and nasty. Not worth the money. Also, i like the presenter, she is elegant, doesn't mess around, she clearly shows that she knows what she's talking about and analyses everything really aptly.
drive in one of these will attract unwanted attention, car thieves love Audis and they'll still steal it from you, hope you have good life insurance and an up to date will in place
Truly don't care if it is the most high tech or not! I want simple elegant car with basic "options" as good ride, decent power and reliability. Dont need a tech for those! Paying for electronic gizmo's I will never use is for dumb idiots and I refuse to be one of them!

a car with a STRAIGHTFORWARD bodywork, 4 doors, and a boot that doesn't reach into the passenger compartment. It's another word for 'sedan'
