A superb performance! After viewing the movie, I immediately came to TH-cam to search and compare. I was absolutely gobsmacked by the similarities. Ms. Grey's performance was excellent-having embodied the essence of Ms. Shamblin's character. Good casting, direction- overall an A+ production!
I watched that ( on free cable movie week ) and for whatever reason did not pay attention to who was playing her. Wow she nailed that lady to a T! I had no idea how good an Actress Jennifer Gray is. The diet program seemed "sound" in some ways and good for folks if it worked. I know a few people who over time learned to eat little amounts and find joy in other parts of their life. But the horrible things she said to her own daughter in law? That he baby died because she did not lose "the baby weight." Blech! I woulda knocked her right of the couch and beat her face in. LOL and Telling parents to lock their kids up in trunks? Terrible! So when they all went on the crash water diet that last day I think THAT WAS GOD saying nope! No more of this nonsense! Just my opinion of course.
She had a nose job in the early 90’s. She thought it would help her movie career but she was so unrecognizable that it had the opposite effect. It’s a shame the people around her made her feel she wasn’t beautiful enough. She was beautiful before and I think she looks great being in her 60’s now.
I wish she had valued he unique beauty bf the nose job. She’s beautiful post-surgery, but not in a distinctive way at all. That seems to be why she faded away for awhile. I’m glad she’s getting some work these days.
@@slulion777 think it was more than that... cant remember all the details, but something went wrong(some kind of complications) with the nose job and had to operate again... from there the difference... something like that :) The is an interview where she talked about the operation
She's not a best selling author she's an actress. Stephen King is probably the greatest author of all time period and JK rolling is right close to him . She's not a best selling author. She's an actress she's not even in the league with Stephen King Or JK rolling.
