Great stuff. I've spent a lot of time in Asuncion and have eaten at that cafe. I usually stay at Campo Sirena in my bus. Can't wait to sail down there one of these days.
@@CruisingMaya Ya, the people there are all pretty wonderful. I usually break up the trip down Baja with a few days there enjoying Pacifico and fish tacos. Baja is a pretty magical place.
You guys have just about convinced me to nix the Baja Haha this year and take your path down the Baja Coast in a more relaxed fashion…and use the $500 entry fee for diesel. 😂😂
I would skip the haha and take a more relaxed route. If we had to do it again, we would have made more stops.... we also would have skipped Tortuga Bay.

Haha cinnamon buns ❤ my grandma used to make them with an adaptation of a potato roll.. took my wife 12 years to figure it out 🤣 now i know we can do it on the boat :) and onboard lifestyle are good people 👍👊 (Just commenting for the algorithm)

There seems to be a crack in the housing of where the carburetor spit into the engine block. I hate to say it, but we just gave our honda outboard away- after a ton of problems we have decided to go electric.
We had to hussle down the coast, so we only got to pick a few places. We mirrored what the Baja Haha sailing rally did, but that was a mistake. There were other, better stops. Tortuga Bay for example, we did not enjoy. We should have stopped in Sedros Island, but we didn't know about it! When we are cruising and have no time constraints, we don't have a schedule so we just go with what feels right or what other cruisers recommend. Hope that answers your question! Thanks for watching!
How did you teach Disco to potty on the boat ? I live aboard with my dog and when cruising he will never go on the boat and I have to take him to shore twice a day.
We are currently working on a video that talks about how we trained Disco to go on the boat! We did the twice a day shore run as well for a long time. We hope to have that video up shortly!
You guys gotta get a drone! $500 will get you going- no need to get a crazy expensive one. Think of the videos and pictures! Boats are drones are a perfect combo!
