Siam Square start around 1970 then become the most lively and trendy for Bangkok commercial district. Especially for young that people .
Every year you probably see new building ...new shops ...new fashion ...new trends at Siam Square.

I was born in Thailand and moved to the U.S. when I was 15. That was back in 98. We would go to Siam square quite often because our mom worked at Sa Sin. This is not the Siam square I remember lol. Wow how things have changed!
They change when covid hit Thailand, they spend that time to improve when no a single traveler there. They did on the right time when normal can not be easy to do.

ถ้าได้จอ plane b แบบ 3 มิติใหญ่ๆมาเพิ่มสักจอ และมี แบรนด์ดังๆมาลงเป็น flagship store สัก 3-4 แบรนด์ มันจะเป็นอะไรที่เพอร์เฟคมากๆ เด่วน่าจะมีการปรับปรุงไปเรื่อยๆ คิดว่าช่วงคริสต์มาส ช่วงปีใหม่ น่ายะมีการตกแต่งไฟประดับให้สวยงามเหมือนตามห้างต่างๆ

Kudos to the Thai people for their covid mask use with quality masks. Is it the law?
There is currently still a mask mandate, but it is likely to be lifted soon (at least in certain areas) but I still expect a large majority of people to continue to wear masks on their own accord.

BGC is quite different from Siam Square, BGC is not center of entertainment of Pinoy teenagers. IT IS BUSINESS DISTRICT OF MANILA, but Siam Square it is the entertainment complex for Thai teens.
And I think Siam Square looks more enjoyable than BGC
