You have to roll right after you seed to get rid of the rolling! With grass you're going to have to reseed your whole grass fields and then roll immediately to get rid of it!
@@marvinford2248 ah ok cool thanks. Looks like I get a benefit from rolling but I was confused because the “needs rolling” didn’t clear. I’ll have to try to roll right away next time 👍👍
@northernfarmsim yeah with a wheat field or something etc. You can just roll it the next time you seed it butt with grass it's always going to say you need rolling unless you reseed it!
But only if you roll with a regular roller after seeding right ? It won’t work the same way with a grassland roller after seeding? I ran in to this same problem on my save.
@martinbye8448 yeah regular rollers for right after seeding the grass rollers for after harvesting your grass it takes it from harvested to growing again!
I feel your pain. My 23 year old Son was high sided off his bike whilst racing. It was his first season racing and on the last race at Donnington Park whilst qualifying, he high sided resulting in breaking his pelvis. 8 weeks of recovery so far and his only just allowed to put full weight on his leg. Hi Northern thanks for another good video. there are a few ways to get your crops to 100% **This is the 7 step process for all the crops accept for the new vegetables: 1) mulch (this will be skipped during field creation so you loose 3% on your first crop) 97% not so bad 2) plow 3) lime 4) fert 5) rock pick (I choose rock picking over cultivating to get the field to the seedbed state, this way I get rocks that can be turned in to lime and less damage to my seeder) 6) seed & fert (if your seeder does not include fert, you will need the second dose) (do not seed field if late at night and you don't have enough time to roll it before bed, the rolling needs to be accomplished same day just after planting or you will miss it.) 7) roll **The new vegetables work a bit different: 1) mulch 2) plow 3) lime 4) fert 5) rock pick 6) hilling 7) seed & fert (after seeding the veggies you should be set, no rolling is required for them.) I use a normal crop roller on grass to get it rolled, this way I don't need two rollers as the grass type do not work on crops. hope this helps
@@Ken_Stauder man that helps a lot. I’ve not historically rock picked but would be a cool addition. Also never mulched….I guess you only mulch when seeding/planting a field. near field 90 there is a little creek, follow it all the way to its end might be worth a look. Up near the BGA there is some winding paths mayb a strolll around will be a good walk. liking your videos, hope your sons recovery is swift. hhave a good one mate.

45:44 yeah, you can see all the collectibles in the map editor. Not saying that's what people do but this one tbh is crazy to discover on your own.. 1:19:44 you can unlock snapping of those in mod's xml but I think it's not just something random by Giants, I think it has to do with the texture angles. Have you noticed when using surface brush, there's a certain way to draw a perfectly straight edge and all other angles are always crooked? Loose materials also comply with those angles. So I think they wanna avoid those random ugly lines inside the silos, especially when you compress the grass and it spills allover or the silo is full and the edge is visible over the walls
@@s1vtre yeah that was a crazy placement, there in the window. Really cool collectables on the map though. I remember hearing somewhere about the silage pits and needing to be honest specific angle… I think you’re right. I guess sometimes it’s good to be forced to think a little bit about how you can work around something rather than just being able to slap it down anywhere anyways.
@@northernfarmsim some people find it easier to create in limited conditions. because when there are no limits whatsoever they get stuck in infinite possible scenarios.
