What is the intro quote? It is not from the Bible, so I don’t understand what is it’s meaning. Is there a ghost living inside the instrument?
The quote is an adaptation of a poem by Sapardi Djoko Damono. It means that although we will not always be alive, the music that we record will still be around after we are gone. And we hope that our children will remember us when they listen to this music. Also, we teach our daughter how to play the guzheng and we play music together as a family - so the instrument symbolizes a bond between mother and daughter. Thanks for watching!

Business Logistics depending on where you live it can be hard to find a store that has guzhengs. I believe you can buy a guzheng online and get it shipped for a few hundred US dollars. I brought mine from China, where they are abundant and inexpensive. Thanks for the encouragement on the lessons.

I thought guzhengs can’t be in direct sunlight.
Never heard that before....direct sunlight might not be the best for the wood. This one has been on beaches, by campfires, and definitely in the sun...still sounds great 😁
