Nice job, and I like your thorough method of learn-by-doing. You might consider purchasing an infrared temp gun. They're not expensive and are a great diagnostic tool. BTW, looks like you have a really nice KZ750! My first bike was a '76 KZ400 and I know have an '86 Ninja ZX600R (I think you would call it a GPz600 in the UK?) that I purchased in '90.
Thanks for the positive comment. Since making the video I have indeed purchased an infrared thermometer. The bike is running well, but I think the carbs are overdue a balance and float height check. Regarding your bikes, yeah in the UK it would be called a GPz600. I had a GPz500S myself, back in the day. A couple of thumbs down from others, I see. Would be helpful if they would explain what they don't like...I might learn something.
@@Mr_CMH sorry bro - I am terrible smart ass! Austinado was correct in suggesting an INFRARED TEMP GUN. They are cheap! You use it on the exhaust pipe exiting the head. Higher temp means running Lean. LEAN= MORE AIR/LESS FUEL. A lean machine will idle high, pop on Rev. GOOD luck!

More accurate to use your tongue on the header for temp testing.
I'll let you try that. 🤣
