Yes, I have used the profiler. I found out that a lot of the lag is coming from a method I made to make the terrain use the appropriate sprites for the cells around the edges of terrain. I made enough optimizations for it to not lag nearly as much as it did. Thanks for the suggestion, though!
Local multiplayer is in the works, and most functions already work. I am uncertain at this current time how I would allow people to join each other without being on the same router / network.
@@ChimmyChimChannel maybe , if the game gonna launched on steam , you can use steam's data base , or simply do port forward to play with friends and that what I'm doing right now and I'm also making a multiplayer survival game
@octansilva554 I have experimented with Steamworks, but I've been having issues with my multiplayer because it only works if I load both instances of my game on the same machine and type my ipv4 and not on separate devices. I haven't been able to fully use Steam yet because of this issue.
