June 2023 we are taking my daughter's 47 y.o. pony that she has dragged about from move to move since she was 3, never wanting to share it or pass it on to another child, but has decided we are coming all the way from Florida to give her horse the companionship of these others in her way to honor it with a well deserved farewell---

Kind of sad to be left to rot. Alot of children would love to have one and have alot of fun

Happened upon Ponyhenge one day out for a ride. Thanks for telling the story behind it.

If ponyhenge is a rocking horse graveyard I must have a pony mosoluam... I collect them here in Pennsylvania & have 50 or more in my collection.

Seems to me... that the first rocking horse was lonely and others came to ease his loneliness... as others came they became a herd and continue to bring joy to all who stumble upon their field of fancy!🦄

Take a ferry over to Nantucket and get a ride out to S’conset. Along the way in a field on the right you will see animal figures in the distance. Sometimes they get removed but usually others reappear.

Jason, that was amazing, thank you for sharing it with us! I love how you referred to them as the herd

I adore Ponyhenge. I now live nearby. I adore how things about the ponies change. New ponies appear. Most recently I noticed that a few ponies were adapted or actually fixed for small riders. Riders! There are riders who stop by. There was a horse with my brother's name on it for awhile. I love your film. Will you add more summer footage when it gets warm again?

I had one as a child. Christmas present in the early 60's. I still remember waking up to find that next the tree. One of those look like the one I had.
    Always wondered where it went.
    Now I know!

I remember the first time I saw ponyhenge. It was so cool and weird! But I was also looking for abandoned/uninhabited places in that area for a project. I came across a defunct horse farm and a small abandoned house in the town over. Great urbex stuff around there!

Thanks for watching - It’s a beautiful place, and the snow definitely made it even more serene.

Not going to lie, the first 30 seconds or so felt like some game of thrones level stuff with the music and wide shot of random spirals, ofc you executed better than they did.

Thank you for doing this video. This is such an interesting organic installation...Can the horses readily be seen from the roadway?...It would make an enjoyable road trip.
Whoever is attending to this site, (if the person(s) may be viewing), I am personally grateful...Hope the tradition is passed on.

If nobody knows who put the monolith up , how do they know it was up for 4 years before anyone discovered it ? Just wondering

    • @JasonAllard

Great question. If you go to Google Earth at the exact location there was nothing there on satellite imagery in 2015, then sometime in 2016 it appeared.

Wonder why they didn’t properly remove the road? Seems lazy to just backfill it.

Not laziness just more cost effective.

I really liked the initial subject of the video! I had not heard of Ponyhenge.
When you went into the more pop-culture stories of Obelisks and Centrallia you lost my like.
It's okay still good editing and shooting.
