Kosovo is 100% different from the news we are used to hearing on TV, I was just amazed by the people from Kosovo when I was there 2 months ago, they were very friendly and the food was fantastic "Flia: 👌

I read a bunch of books for this trip, my favourite was Shadowplay by Tim Marshall. But I've always been fascinated with the Balkans.
Well that was new and unexpected but very interesting.....Mathew Jude -Board Gamer, Prince of DxM and now Travel guide 🙂
I'm certainly doing the scattershot approach to content creation.

Looks like a great place. I have vague memories watching dire news reports on TV about Kosovo when I was a kid (Late 90s?) but never really thought much of it since.
That's why I wanted to go, because people only think about war when they hear Kosovo, I know I did, so I wanted to discover the real Kosovo if I could.

I agree, it as a great privilege to get to visit such a wonderful place.
I have just returned from a holiday touring Kosova from Pristina, to Pec, to Prizren and over the mountain border crossing to N Macedonia.
The only danger I came across in Kosovo was the odd maniac driver, but that is an eastern European thing from my experience.
I never felt any discomfort in Kosovo even after dark.
You should come to Vukovar. There's nothing much to see, but it is also obscure and kind of interesting. I should know, I'm from there. 🙃
People usually associate Croatia with the seaside, but continental part is interesting as well.
Heck yeah, Croatia is on my list of places to visit for sure.

Hey Matthew. Love the video. I also tend to read up on the history of the places I visit! Please continue trying the pops & bars and petting all the animals :)
One tiny bit of (hopefully constructive?) criticism: I miss a little intro in which you explain what you are doing. If it's just a oneshot, ignore me. But if you're shooting a series (more of Pristina? more countries later?) you just gave us an appetiser without us knowing there is a menu. Maybe also some more flavour text in the description (date of filming might be important if Pristina goes through more architectural changes in the next few years)? But, keeping in line with my metaphor: it tastes like more!
That's a good idea, I'll think about adding stuff like that. I think some can be solved with a channel trailer at some point in the future as well.

Planning to visit Serbia, Kosovo, North Macedonia in that order this video was helpful to preview what’s to come in my Balkan adventures
I just went to bosnia which was amazing honestly and my plan is to go to all of the Balkens at some point for sure
I just visited Peja and Prizren and safer that tons of places I’ve been like France cities, big US cities, Caribbean etc.

You chose a wet Sunday to Visit Pristina when most of the people are out on their villas in the west of Kosovo. Pristina should be visited between Monday and Saturday

Its been 23 years since war ended and there are people who still thinks Kosovo is dangerous?
The need to specify that it is cow milk is so vital to their sales and marketing that it's literally the name of the candy bar. Not gonna lie - if I found a row in a market of various animal milk bars, cow would be my last stop; you're already off the beaten path, might as well make it an adventure.

I'd have to disagree on the Golden eagle drink. It tastes nothing like Red bull infact red bulls are one of the worst tasting energy drinks out there. Don't even know how red bull the brand got so big. Maybe the chocolate bar ruined the taste test of the energy drink, you should've started with the drink instead
