Riding EVERY Trail at Ober Gatlinburg MTB Park with My WIFE

- Nikki and I decided to spontaneously ride Ober Mountain Bike Park in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. We loaded up the car and started on the hour and 15 minute drive from Knoxville. This was both of our first times at Ober Mtn and Nikki's first time ever at a downhill bike park.
The park itself has historically been a skiing destination, but in the last year they have opened the trails up for mountain bikers, and it is the only "lift access" bike park in all of Tennessee- although the lifts were being replaced and we were being shuttled up.
We had a great time and this is certainly a family friendly environment. With a variety of trails to choose from, this is the perfect place to begin your downhill adventures.
The bike I am riding is the 2024 Transition Sentinel
The bike Nikki is riding is the Specialized Stump-Jumper.
This was a great day trip for us, and one that we will be making again!

oh man. I ate it SOOOO hard there closing weekend last season. And there are some oddly comfy rocks to chill on around that blue truck parked behind you in the opening shot. took me a couple laps to "get my legs" but I had a blast. Either 16:04 or 16:08 is where i ate it. First trail of the day. Aparently I bounced and it looked AWFUL. but I was fine and we rode nearly every trail that day. Those were my first blacks.
