    for using as TV speakers for Movies / everyday TV / sports etc. the s3000Pro's or the R2850DB + subwoofer...which would be best in your opinion ? thx...cheers from Canada

      Hm, that's a hard one. If you don't plan on listening to a lot of music, and it's mainly for movies and stuff, you might be better off with a 2850DB + a decent 10" sub.
      Don't get me wrong, the S3000 Pro have superior sound quality. Better bass (not that boomy, plenty enough, and it actually can go a bit lower), better imaging, waaay better treble, thanks to the planar tweeters, tho if you never used a better speaker than the 2850DB, it will probably sound totally fine, and for movies, bass imo is pretty important, and you might miss that really low-end without a sub.
      In a nutshell, if you want better overall sound quality, get the S3000 Pro, they are fantastic. But if your main focus is on bass, get the 2850DB + a decent, at least 10" subwoofer.
      Tho lemme say that, since I'm upgraded from the 2850DB to the S3000 Pro, there's no way I can go back to the 2850DB, even if it's bundled with a nice subwoofer.

      @@GOLFADDICT65 I've got a short video about the S3000 Pro's "movie experience". I mean ofc it's not a perfect sound test, since it was recorded using just an iPhone 12, but maybe you will get a basic idea about the speakers bass/low-end, I think it's pretty good even listening through this recording.

      @@yezividI just got the top soundbar from Samsung (HW-Q995C). And I'm extremely disappointed with its sound quality for music. It seems, all reviewers of that soundbar are just paid from Samsung. How do You think, S3000 will perform better for music in a small room?

    • @yezivid
      @yezivid  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@8000860 A soundbar is fine if you don't have room for decently sized speakers, but you'll never get the same quality out of them, a proper stereo speaker will always perform better, especially in music. IMO the S3000 Pro is a safe bet, can't really go wrong with them, unless you hate the sound of an AMT/Planar tweeter.

      Nobody knows which one you'll prefer, we all have different preferences when it comes to sound quality. But imo, the S3000 Pro easily matches, or even surpasses most of it's competition in it's price range.
      I've tried a few 8" budget studio monitors, also I've had a BX8 D3 and T8V in my setup. I only bought my first 8" monitor because I wanted good bass, even without a subwoofer.
      But the problem with 2-way 8" speakers that the mid-range won't be as good as it is with a smaller speaker. (Like a 6,5" or 5,5")
      Luckily, the S3000 Pro's 6,5" drivers can produce plenty of bass, and it can actually go as low as the advertised 38Hz (which is crazy, cause most of the 8" speakers also bottoms out at around 40Hz), and you still got nice mid-range.
      Oh, and the planar tweeters in the S3000 Pro sound phenomenal, imo much better than the silk dome tweeters in similarly priced speakers. Only thing that had this good highs was the T8V's ribbon tweeters. (I've got my T8V's after my S3000 Pro, but I still went back to the S3000 after like 2 months.)
      You'll get plenty of inputs, wireless connection between the two speakers, a remote, and it also comes with 4 different DSP profile:
      -Monitor, which is pretty flat sounding
      -Vocal, which lowers the low-end and increases the high-end a bit
      -Classic, which increases the high-end a bit
      -Dynamic, which adds a little bit of "V" characteristics by increasing the low- and high-end a bit
      (For me, Dynamic sounds the best, bass kicks pretty hard, the planar tweeter shines, but the mid-range is still there.)
      The S3000 Pro is a solid choice for basically everything; mixing, gaming, listening to music, watching movies or podcasts etc.
      And they also look nice lol, unlike most studio monitors.

    hi, what position is the bass control set to?

    • @yezivid

      Bass (and Treble too) was set to neutral/0 dB, and I've used the "Dynamic" DSP profile.

    Is the bass stronger than in Logitech z623??

    • @yezivid
      @yezivid  22 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Definitely not, since the bass in the Z623 is already too pronounced, combine that with the high crossover frequency, and in the end all you get is a muddy mess. The Z623 is nowhere near of a good speaker.
      However, the S3000 on it's own has plenty of bass, with a decent low-end that bottoms out at around ~38Hz.

      Pretty good for a 6,5", it can go as low as around ~38Hz.

      @@yezivid que tal hermano.
      Le ecualizaste el bajo para que no se saturara el bass reflex? Ya que en frecuencias muy bajas se llega a saturar el bass reflex y hay que ecualizar bien.
      Buen video bro...
