When Goff isn't under duress, he's an MVP level QB. Finally building up the Oline is the smartest thing Detroit has ever done.
Crazy to see how pinched he is, but the Oline is giving him just enough space to make a nice throw when it matters.
He's also making some great passes, even if there are 2 defenders on his receiver. Takes a lot of trust to do well in either of those situations, so it's great to see

@@kennethdelorey8842 I said 12-5 as well, looking more like 13-4 or 14-3 if they keep playing at this level. The injuries are pretty brutal though. Of course people will look at us like we have 2 heads, but it isn't surprising for those of us who have been watching every game. There was a very clear turning point with this team and it started last year and thankfully carried in to this year, but they also added some stud rookies to an already good core. Hopefully they can get healthy for Baltimore (Montgomery, Gibbs, Branch mainly).
As long as they stay healthy and play consistently, the sky's the limit for the Detroit Lions.

I was born and raised in and around Detroit, and still live in Michigan. Win or lose, I love the Lions, and I am so happy for them and all of us fans for the success they're having. Let's go all the way baby!

The strongest part of Lions team is their defense. They built a really great defensive team which makes big problems for any great offensive team in NFL. You can see how good they really are when they didn’t let Bucs score a single TD. Jared is also a good quarterback who can feed their teammates really well with his good passes. As I said the last year, I’m really happy for Lions like rest of the NFL fans for watching Lions beautiful games after all those troubles they’ve been through. As a Niner I wish them the best and I hope we’ll meet in NFC championship game… .

Yeah…. But the offense decisions were somewhat disturbing 2nd and 3 and they throw it down 20 yards for an incompletion 3and 3 and a deep ball that’s out of reach. Like run a play action scramble for 3 fckn yards. That happened twice.

Also have a lot of different secondary players than the first time around. Walker is now a healthy scratch and will Harris only a special teamer Jacob’s was benched and now on IR. Hopefully this is for the better defense needs a good showing in this game.

Thanks, I live in Palmetto 5 minutes from the Skyway but from Michigan. I’ve seen the Lions go from a Championship built team with Barry in 91 to collapsing. I also saw a Bucs team that was horrible to see Dilfer beat the Packers in The Sombrero against Farve on Monday night, that was the change for the Bucs. It took a few more years but in between Tampa won 2 SBs.

Boy, that Buccs defense was good and Baker Mayfield came close to some serious plays, but the Lions simply played great on every side of the ball. Fantastic coaching staff, player depth, and decision making every play

If I can recall Gibbs was hurt this game . That itself is a factor to compliment Montgomery with the run .
But the fact of the matter is can My Lions CBs keep up . Can’t afford those 15+ yards plays on the Bucs offense. 4-1 secondary was sus and here we are now still suspect.

I think it’s down to the CB’s as well. Both secondaries for both teams aren’t the best, but ours worries me because they give up too many huge plays off of something simple. Especially these past couple of weeks. Also, our offense tends to come out swinging and fall off after the defense adjusts lately. Hopefully the offense stays solid and plays a complete game in order to make up for the defense.
