Hello Everyone
I came across this video by kushal. i like his content. there is teaching related guidance in this video. being a professor myself thought adding more insight to it. Apart from info in video i would like to add few things, teaching is very good for those having good communication and expression skills and if you can engage and entertain students.
Just like any other business or profession it has top line (Sales) and bottom line (Net Profit). There are various costs such as
18% GST, 20-25% Sellers Commission, Operations Team, Content Management Team, Classroom rent etc, so realistically depending on volume what remains with professor can be 30% to 60%
I have seen some young professors getting disappointed when they see bottom line. I will just say that it improves over period of time.
