Yep. Noob is the dead older brother of the current Sub Zero. His name is Bihan i think
Also, a little tid bit, the name "Noob Saibot" comes from the creators of MK, Ed Boon and John Tobias [last names spelled backwards]
Yeah he's the Sub Zero that killed all of Scorpion's people. Causing Scorpion to seek revenge killing him. Then Bi-Han's brother, Kuai Liang, took the Sub Zero mantle and now hates Scorpion for killing his brother
Smoke1412 "Scorpion's people" (Shirai hiu, or however it is spelled) and Bi-han didn't kill then, it was Quan chi disguised as Bi-han

Smoke1412 and to add Kuai-liang after killing sektor (for turning the entire Lin-kuei in cyborgs) he discovered he ordered Quan chi to kill the entire Shirai riu, then he called Scorpion and revealed that to him (all this happens in Scorpion's chapter in MKx

awesome review anthony , and that figure is kickass . Noob saibot was the orginal subzero unti his brother took the place of his mantle . Quan Chi is the one who ressurected tundra
Quan Chi resurrected Bi Han, the first Sub Zero. Tundra was the name for Kuai Liang, the current Sub Zero
He looks best with his MK 1 cloth mask imo. It naturally suits this specific figure better.
Storm is doing Tekken? OMG I hope they do Jin Kazama with a hood.
Noob Saibot is certainly one of my favorite MK characters, nice to see a figure for him.
OH WOW!!! Great review Anthony!!! He looks so amazing. I'm so pissed at Storm for making him exclusive. I'm all in on their MK line and Noob is one of my favorite characters. Unfortunately there was no way for me to get to SDCC and now I need to pay scalper prices for what is essentially a repaint which I just cant afford...

Your right about the mortal Kombat II thing. He did appear in mortal Kombat II as a repaint of scorpion and he had the same moves of scorpion and the same fatalities as him as well

King of fighters characters tend to have more realistic proportions so they should have great range of movment too. I cant wait
Noob Saibot was in MK2 and had All of Scorpion Moves and Fatality's but he was a Blacked Out Sub-Zero.

Thanks for the videos and the great reviews, first time viewer I was lucky enough to find reptile,ermac,noob saibot and he’s bloody variant with Goro a few weeks ago I’m impressed by the details on these figures also so can’t wait for my Baraka and MK3 Scorpion to arrive as I missed out on the first release of him and sub zero I’ll be adding Cyrax to the collection also keep up the good work

raidenkeify only problem is that they're too tall and I like to mix my figs. Besides I still have the mkx mezco figures and I believe that figma & shf are going to be in good scale. Just my personal opinion btw, I want figures that are in height with other figures. The only figures I will buy from sc is Shao Kahn, Goro, and M. Bison bc they're the bigger guys/bigger characters.

They actually screwed this one up lol Noob Saibot is the original Sub-zero! it actually has ice power moves in MK4, ninja Smoke on the other hand appeared for the first time as a grey version of Scorpion with smoke surrounding his body, also having the Scorpion moveset!, I don't know why they included those effect with him??

Because in MK2 Noob Saibot was literally a hidden character, and color swap of Scorpion. His story and everything else didn't come until later on. This figure is an homage to that version of Noob, not the newer version.

Actually it is correct for Mortal Kombat 2.. he used a spear and had the toasty finisher.
This is dope but they screwed up on the accessories
It’s based off his MK2 appearance which uses all of scorpions moves.
Why did they gave him Scorpions' skull and flame effect? The kunai rope makes sense since he had it in mk2. They couldn't give him a dark gray cloud effect?
Also if you guys wanna replicate his shadow moveset we need to buy 2 Noob Saibot action figures 😂.
he was, at one point, as clone of scorpion (coding wise).
AnthonysCustoms oh yeah true but still i feel like they were just too lazy to give him the cloud ball effect and just reused Scropion's skull and flame parts to save time. Other than that though its still looks really dope.

George La Flare Actually in mk2 he was first a recolored scorpion but to fight him you had to win 50 vs matches in a row

Dhiego Moreira de Andrade It's correct since if you actually watched the review he even said it that Noob Saibot was just a palette swap to Scorpion like all the other Mortal Kombat Ninjas. Ermac was also a Palette swap to Scorpion and later was made into a character. Which is why many of the palette swaps shared moves of said character. So yes, this is correct it was until later games Noob Saibot had his own move list controlling shadows sane for Ermac who later had telekinesic abilities even fave the characters their own backstories.
