Two of the best jokes that could’ve happened but never did, thanks to the cancellation of season 4: 1) Vegeta’s last thought before sacrificing himself against Fat Buu. ‘Trunks, Bulma, I do this for you. And yes, even for you…Best Buddy.’ 2) Vegeta getting pummeled by Kid Buu off-screen while Goku is charging the Spirit Bomb and singing the “chargin’ my attack” song in his head.
Well, from Vegeta's perspective, Goku just took place instead of Nappa...and from Goku's perspective, Vegeta took place instead of Piccolo, pretty much.
Even as a five year old I had so many questions about the plot holes in this movie. Always preferred the original cooler's revenge for that reason. Also the one thing I will give super credit for is that they give side characers room to shine

He hasn't been Claptrap since the Pre-Sequel. He got replaced after he got into some kind of dispute (supposedly over his pay) with Gearbox and Randy Pitchford.
What baffles me is how one man can be so versatile to manage to voice 3 so different characters: Vegeta, Krillin, Roshi. He can change voices irl too, as seen in the breakdowns of episodes they did some years ago
"But why?" Toriyama tends to discard characters once he no longer needs them and Yajirobe was created for a very specific need - namely he was good friends with Krillin's voice actress and knew that with Krillin's death she'd be in for a rough patch without any work so he created a Yajirobe, a character very specifically described to "Sound just like Krillin". Once Krillin proper returned though there wasn't much point to him and he joined the chorus of extras. Except for whatever reason the animators threw him in with Korrin instead of getting him an extra room at Kame House or throwing him back in the jungle he came from or whatever. Which in the Abridged morphed into the Love That Should Not Be but at least explains why these two characters are spending so much time together.

So, one thousand pieces, equals one thousand Metal Coolers. Yeeeaaaahhh...not good.
Yeah, it's a pretty standard practice to use your core set of skills as you learn and figure out how your opponent moves and reacts, so you can better play your more advanced or personally preferred style when going for the win. For example, if you're good at holds and grapples, you'll want to try out some safer basic holds to see how good your opponent is at either breaking them or enduring. If they're particularly good at countering them, you know not to try for higher risk holds, wasting stamina and possibly taking an unnecessary blow. Which of course, in Animé speak, means holding back your power and working up to the full power for the big finish 😅
I know it's because of fanservice because that's what the brand has devolved into, but it's still nice to see Piccolo and Gohan take center stage in the newest movie.

I love how this movie kind of shows the origin of Gogeta’s signature attack that he uses in Fusion Reborn and later DBS Broly. The attack Goku uses to defeat Cooler is identical to Stardust Breaker besides the color and end effect.
The reason for there being so many Cooler bots is “The Big Gete Star fixes any new problem to the point where the same thing can’t hurt me again. Even if that problem is that there are too little of me.”
My question about this movie would be; if that alien star mechanical thingy, can do an infinite clones of Metal Cooler, WHY THE F is that thing doing by making the other robots!? 1 Cooler it's better than a legion of those things
It's one of the most common limitations of the Shonen sub genre. Basically trashing the side characters and making that every major victory can't be achieved without the protag.

I understand your frustration though, especially since this takes place right before the Cell games so honestly Gohan should've beeb way more competent if a fighter even with him being a pacifist since he was fighting robots

Goku's not a hero. He saves ppl yes , but his priority is always the fight. He never goes super saiyan right away because he wants to enjoy the fight
