I am 88 years this year. Been in ministry for years. I enjoy your simplicity of ministering of the scriptures and texts. You fill in our blanks so easy.
I appreciate that. Thank you so much 🙏
I pray that you continue to be blessed by these messages. Matt
Nothing in my hand I bring simply to thy cross I cling.
Brother please pray for me. I've been suffering from insomnia, anxiety, fear and depression. Vaping. Please pray for me. I want to find peace and wellness again. Ty so much.
I just prayed for you, dear one, I can relate to your struggles! Please don't smoke anymore! My father smoked cigarettes and had so much health issues as a result! I prayed deliverance for you!
I’m sorry to hear this. May God help you, in Jesus’ name. Matt 🙏

@@luciaimparato9390 I' know. I am so scared to just pitch it. I HATE IT! Ty.
Prayed for you as well!! If I can share a bit of advice, try to diligently study the Bible personally, with your mind stayed on Christ (Colossians 3:2) and grounded in the Gospel as you read! Ask God for guidance and understanding(1 Peter 5:7) as you get to know Him more and more. When you have the urge to vape, or can't sleep, try to read a chapter or 2 to help focus your mind (Gal 5:16). I'm not saying this will 100% get rid of everything you deal with but you can never go wrong when devouring God's Word! Also, instead of simply asking God to remove these issues, ask Him to give you strength as you go through it! Romans 5:3-5! Stay encouraged in the Lord!
Excellent devotion! Psalm 51 is one of my favorite portions of Scripture. Thank you!
What a joy to see that our Lord is strong when we are weak. Take courage Matt. Like Paul's letters from prison your messages bring hope and joy to many. Praying for much fruit on your ministry.
1 John 1:9 - If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
As a young girl, at the time of my salvation, the Lord convicted me that I needed to repent. I struggled with this because no one was with me to stroke my conscience. I’ve been told by my parents many times that I was good. The only thing I could think of what I did wrong was fighting with my brother. Although I wasn’t broken up or felt sorry, I confessed this sin and acknowledged I was a sinner, albeit I couldn’t think of anything else I did wrong. But I believed the Bible, because God’s Word is true, and accepted/trusted Jesus to save me. I sometimes struggle with doubts of my salvation, even though the Lord has answered so many of my prayers and has come to my rescue so many times. Please pray for me. Sometimes I’m at my wits end.
Thank you for sharing. I’ll post a video below that might bless you ⬇️

Hi Matt.
Great message, love the break down and explanation of these scriptures.
Greatly blessed every time I listen to your messages.
Thanks Matt. 🙏❤️
I love this verse❤
God bless, look forward to more of these ❤
This is really good Matt. Thankyou for making it so easy to understand and gleaning the gold from this psalm God looks at the heart, and our inner life, we are not to be proud and independent from God , but come humbly to Him , Amen
I will give you a new heart ❤ and put a new spirit within you: i will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh (Ezekiel 36:28)
Interesting about sharing Gospel here:
Psalm 51:10-13 KJV
[10] Create in me a clean heart, O God; And renew a right spirit within me. [11] Cast me not away from thy presence; And take not thy holy spirit from me. [12] Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; And uphold me with thy free spirit. [13] **Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; And sinners shall be converted unto thee.**
Only when we have repented and have the joy of our salvation restored can we truly share the wonder, grace and mercy of the Gospel
Thanks for sharing esp.v 13 ☺️🙏🏼
@@Godestablishes you're very welcome ☺️
Amen and Amen Matt🙏❤️
THANK YOU!
I just came across this video tonight. Yesterday morning, as I reached for my Bible, a bookmark fell out of a devotional book that was on top of it, and the verse in that bookmark was from Psalm 51:10: "Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me". Your video was very helpful, particularly that God doesn't want our 'sacrifices' when our heart is not right before him. My problem is, is that when I repent, I feel it is not enough and I must try harder, try better ..... I must rest in God's grace and his mercy. Thank you for this helpful, encouraging video.
Great analysis!
Thank you for the insightful Bible study, Matt. This is the kind of content that I need to study the Bible. God bless you abundantly 🙏🏻🎉
A real blessing at the start of the day.
Blessings to you Matt
Amen !
Psalm 91 is the definition of a true contrite heart and the confession of all sins committed without which repentance is not possible.
Paul talks about it in Romans 7:19-21 worthy to read!
Psalm 51:16-17
“ Father You do not desire sacrifices ,or else I would give it; You do not delight in burnt offerings. The sacrifices God is delighted in are a broken heart ,A broken and contrite heart -These , O God You will not despise.”
As long as we are in this decaying flesh and in this wicked and dark world, even as saved believers we will be tested with temptation to sin, but by His grace and His finished work on the cross we will triumph in Jesus might and holy name! Repentance being crucial!
Lord Jesus come quickly, come!
Correction - meaning to write psalm 51 not 91
This is something I have recently started praying for, for God to put something on my heart and help me align with his will. Wonderful video!
1 John 1:8 - If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
Thank you for this wonderful post, very encouraging. Take care. (Ecclesiastes 3:1)
I see humility.
God bless you too Matt. 😊
YAAAY! LOVE IT! ❤

I appreciate all the points you made throughout. 😇
Thanks for watching, and commenting 🙏😃

Thats nice that you did a little bible study , thank you Matt! Do you think you can do livestreams where we can do bible study with you? That would be great!
Amen
Thanks again for sharing. I’m sorry I don’t know your name. I have only noticed you the last few weeks on here. Great to see a fellow Aussie biblical Christian. I realise how set back you have felt being physically setback. But I see god’s purpose in you. I’m a guy who works 15 hours a day pretty much. First thing I do in the morning is put on my audio bible on the way to work. Lunchtimes I flick through your content on TH-cam. In the evening times throughout dinner I put on ray comfort. Then just before bed I read a few pages of the bible again. You are a trophy of gods grace.
Thank you so much for your comment. That’s really encouraging that you’re being so blessed by these videos, that you watch them at lunchtime. I also appreciate your encouraging words about my health, and God’s purpose in it!
I can’t believe how many hours you work!! Wow!! I pray that God continues to sustain you, with his strength.
Matt 🙏

As always Matt, thank you for the reminder, blessings to you and yours.
Bravo! Excellent! What a great idea to do lessons. 😆 did this with my kids and they actually really liked it! Thanks Matt. Really enjoy these. ❤
Glad you liked it!! I’ll do more 😃
Thanks Matt, I really enjoyed this study. Would love if you did more of these insightful studies 🙏
More to come!
David was indeed confronted by Nathan, a prophet. I have a hard time, thinking about that confrontation. "That man deserves to die", David says in indigation. How can David not have understood that he was, in fact, the unrighteous man? Maybe God put a veil before his eyes...
It is the Holy Spirit that convicts us of sin and leads us to repentance. But the indwelling of the Holy Spirit didn't come until Pentecost.
Before then, God would speak to his prophets and they would go and deliver a message and in David's case, that was through Nathan.
Is this similar to Matthew 5:23-24 where Jesus says… “Therefore, if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother or sister has something against you, leave your gift there in front of the altar. First go and be reconciled to them; then come and offer your gift.” In that we need a clean heart to come before God.
Rom 8:21 Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.
Rom 8:22 For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.
Rom 8:23 And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.
Rom 8:24 For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?
Rom 8:25 But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.
Rom 8:26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
Rom 8:27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
Rom 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
Rom 8:29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
Rom 8:30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.
We're in new covenant..... He has blotted out our transgressions and given us a new heart
Certainly, but we walk in daily repentance, and desire to have our heart renewed continually!
Amen and thank you.
@@lionoffireraw He has given us a new heart, David doesn't speak or pray as one born again... He has put a new Spirit within us and taken away our heart of stone... He has written His Word upon our hearts now.... We must renew our minds to that truth.... You cannot mix the old with the new... If we confess our sins He is faithful to forgive us and we must bear fruit of repentance.... Abide in the vine and as we walk out our salvation we don't want to sin..... The Holy Spirit is given, He actually knows all Truth He is the spirit of Truth and so all Truth is in us... He brings the Truth out which is the sword of the Spirit.. He leads us into all Truth... God doesn't speak to us from up in heaven... The Holy Spirit draws it out to lead us and teach us... Out of our innermost being flow rivers of living water... He has all knowledge, all wisdom., all Truth... We have received by faith
Yes, we are to be in daily repentance!!
@@lionoffirerawyes, exactly Matt! We still have our fleshly bodies we live in,,so we are still prone to sin, therefore , we have to repent continually! Every day is Spiritual warfare!
G204 chief corner, placed at an extreme corner, the corner foundation stone (used 2x)
Ephesians 2:20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner G204 stone;
1 Peter 2:6 Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner G204 stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded.
1 Peter 2:7 Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner,
1 Peter 2:8 And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed.
1 Peter 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:
1 Peter 2:10 Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.
Our Lord and Saviour Jesus The Christ is the chief corner G204 stone and He is about to COME to gather all in Christ to HIM!!!! AMEN
Please Wake UP if you are still believing in the lies of corrupted religious systems and the lies of this world that everything has gone back to normal because it has definitely NOT!!!!!
OUR KING OF KINGS and LORD OF LORDS JESUS CHRIST is about to Come for His BRIDE!!!! AMEN
Hi Matt, sorry mate but this in incorrect and old covenant teaching…We are not under the same covenant as David…God’s word teaches, that when we believed we became new creations, with new, clean hearts, new spirits, and He will never take His Holy Spirit from us as we are sealed… A born again believer is not under a system of progressive forgiveness as our sins have already been forgiven, past, present and future…When we sin, yes we come before God and agree(confess) that we have done wrong, but it’s not about as you say God accepting our contrite heart, the work is finished and He will remember our sins no more( Heb cha 8 &10)…
We come before God and give thanx for what Christ has done for us, we give thanx that we have already been washed clean, we give thanx the He has given us new hearts and a new nature. We give thanx that we are now dead to sin but alive to God in Christ…I’ll say it again, FORGIVENESS IS NOT PROGRESSIVE, ITS A DONE DEAL…!!! For the most part Matt, I appreciate your ministry, but this particular teaching does, even though you wish it not to, does condemn, because if you are teaching a christian must continually confess thier sins, then that leaves doubt that they can miss some, and doubt causes confusion and condemnation…Sorry to be so candid bro, but the body of Christ needs to fully know and be sure she is once and for all forgiven, that’s where the power of transformation is rooted, in knowing the almighty love, grace and totally finished and complete redemption that is in Christ and Christ alone, other wise, if it’s up to my continual confession, then it’s all on me,(works) and robs
God of His glory….Blessings…
I’m not saying that it’s our repentance that saves us (or keeps us saved). Rather, a repentant heart is evidence of one who is born again, and convicted by the Spirit. There is no condemnation in this place!
The believer will have godly sorrow over their sin, and communicate to God that they are sorry for this sin. We confess our sin to God, and accept his grace. I did make mention in the video that David was under the old covenant, which we are not.
OSAS is a different issue, for which there are arguments for each side. That’s something that believers can agree to disagree on, as a secondary issue.
@@lionoffireraw Nope, you said in your video that only thing that God will accept is for us to come to Him with a broken and contrite spirit so He will forgive us...!!! Once again this is incorrect, we come to Him with a mornful yet thankful spirit that He has already forgiven us...!!!
P.s. Once saved, always saved is NOT A SECONDARY ISSUE, IT IS A PRIMARY FACT...
@@authenticlifeministries-br6751 where in the Word does it say that our (past, present, future) sins have already been forgiven?
@@thekingschild2116 Heb 8:13 & 10:17...Eph 1:1-14...Rom 8:1...
I could list more, but all of the NT teaches that Christ died ONCE FOR ALL, NEVER TO BE REPEATED, unlike the old covenant that required continual animal sacrifice...Christ died once and got raised once. You believe once and get saved once, thats the beauty and awe of Gods amazing gospel of redemption...
