    - This video shows you a simple way to organize the parameters associated with PID to make it easy to get up and running with PID quickly. If you are familiar with PID, then this will be all you need to get up and running. If you are new to PID or just need a refresher there are focused topic videos that do a deep dive into all of the aspects of PID. Things like: Process Variable, Setpoint, PID Tuning, Control Output, Alarms, Auto/Manual control, Bumpless mode, etc.

Man, your videos are just amazing.
    I have just one doubt:
How do the VFD convert the PID output to the right frequency:
    error: PSIsetpoint-PSImeasured (unit psi)
    If P=1, and I=0
    output: P*error
But the motor works in HZ (and RPM)
But then, how does the VFD "know" for what HZ to correct? or is it just newHz=output*oldHZ? Even if output has different units than the CO?
I saw your video where you build the correlation between the CO and PV, but it still puzzles me how you control de CO if the output is different!
    THANKS

Thanks! for the feedback. Not sure I understand the question ... that's just how it works...

@@automationdirect Thanks for your quick reply!
What puzzles me is that if the output or correction is in the units of the process but the the control is in HZ. There is no conversion or something? Just magic? hahah

@Bazikstano Nope, No magic. This video just didn't do a very good job of explaining how the scaling works (I didn't explain my assumptions). This video will give you a better feel for how you need to scale things to make the math work correctly: th-cam.com/video/41SUi2JYDHU/w-d-xo.html. Start at around 0:45.

@@automationdirect Amazing! Indeed it does! I have even more questions, so I do not want to bother more...is there any book, with this level of technical detail that you would recommend? Not the classical book on laplace, but hands on applications!

I really like the "PID Blueprint" - it's a hands on step by step approach that explains things in English. We usually do an example of that in each PID series but ran out of time with this WEG Drive series. Here are some other examples we did using the PID Blueprint with other devices::
