    I absolutely miss these two. Those his and her days were special. They had the best chemistry on any sports show.

    You guys connected on an organic level (and still are after watching this) that very few people are blessed to do. I read your book so I know why it ended & why it HAD to end. To append Michael's point...other duos will come, but NO ONE will ever do it like y'all did. Take a very deserved bow! 💯👏🏾

    I feel like I’m watching their show again. They honestly were ahead of their time. They were the front-runners to speaking out on public forums in the 2010’s. I appreciate what they did so much.

    You guys had the best show on ESPN and growth over the years you guys did it was organic and to see the power structure in charge tear it down and destroy it was sad

    It’s very simple. Sorry, but y’all failed because the majority of sports fans DON’T want political commentary from their sports anchors... PERIOD.

    • @knottchu6159
      @knottchu6159 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Just 8% of all fans agree that “broadcasters should use sports to promote political issues. Fewer still (6%) believe “sponsors should use sports to promote political issues.” Overall, 60% of fans do not agree that “pro athletes should use their platforms to promote political issues.” - Forbes Magazine (results when polling random sports fans).

    Michael Smith would of done big things in espn and he know it. Hill destroyed that with her own motives.

      They learned a valuable lesson. People don’t like politics mixed with their sports. It has always been that way. People turn to sports to get away from the annoyance of politics. The two topics are oil and water.

    Happy that Mike is growing through the ESPN trauma. I empathize with his testimony. It is a blessing to hear it and I pray the Lord continues to bless him. As a fan, I really really hope that they do something together but THIS TIME on a platform that THEY OWN! They so deserve it. And let's be frank, they gave birth to this whole WOKE SPORTS-ENTERTAINMENT TV PERSONALITY genre anyway.
