And, I tell you what, I'm here to say that Sharp Shopper is the cheapest (and I'll even say the best!!) grocery store in all of America! I've done my large family grocery shopping at Sharp Shopper for over two decades. I have proclaimed myself Sharp Shopper's biggest fan (umm...I prefer the title of Queen 👑 😂). I'm a widow and have no one to cook for anymore. I wish I had a bunch of kids around to have some one to cook for again ! Love y'all !! Sending tons of prayers to you all !!!
At 70 years old .I too am alone. It took me a good amount of time to get used to cooking for one. Now when I cook I make several lock-n-lock containers for one person and freeze them.
Can't you just imagine how much fun it would be to be her sous chefs and then just melt back into the background? I'd love that!

You brought back memories when you mentioned your husband having a slicer and cutting the cheese. My parents raised 7 kids on one income and at some point bought a slicer and cut their own ham, cold cuts, roast beef etc. They thought it saved them a LOT buying the canned hams, cooking a turkey and slicing it, etc. Really great prices at Sharp Shopper!
No sharp shopper in Florida
We are taking a driving trip from Michigan to North Carolina this summer. My husband doesn't know it yet, but we are taking a little detour in Virginia to find us a Sharp Shopper on the trip home!!!!! 😆😁

Virginia locations going to be a little bit of a drive for you Harrisonburg, Waynesboro and Winchester. I just googled and it looks like NC has several discount grocery stores too that might be worth checking out if there close too.
I watch another ladys TH-cam that lives in NC but travels over the line to SC to a few discount grocery stores (Deals Galore, and the other one I can’t remember the name but could be Savealot .

Oh seeing the breakfast sausage reminded me I wanted to share. I played around with some appetizers before Christmas and one called for cooked sausage and onions. After doing so I didn't use it all and put the remainder in a freezer bag for later. I woke last week craving sausage gravy and decided to use my little freezer stash (forgetting the onions inside) I got the pan hot and made me some sausage gravy. Oh my heaven it was absolutely the best I've ever eaten!!! Yessum it was a surprise and I will never make it any other way. Blessings y'all!!
We drove all the way to Pennsylvania to the closest Sharp Shopper because of your videos! It’s a 5 hour drive but we loved it! We filled the car from top to bottom! Next time, we are taking the truck and loading the back! We didn’t know they were closed on Sunday though. We are driving there on a Friday, staying the night, shopping at Sharp Shopper and then heading home with our stash! We got there 1/2 hour before closing on Saturday night and they were closed Sunday so we will be more prepared and have a better schedule next time!

Sharp Shopper is like the "Grocery Outlet" stores we have in northern California but mega size! I'm so jealous lol !

Lol I actually emailed Sharp Shopper asking them to expand to Ohio. Mike Sharp himself emailed a reply and unfortunately, they do not currently have plans to expand. But I was still impressed that he took the time to reply.
I wish they would expand to Ohio. I would definitely shop there. In fact we need it here.

I just checked online to see what stores are comparable to sharp shopper and found some within 5 miles of me. We have Aldi, Lidl, Sava a lot and a few more. This made my day!!! Hope your family members are doing better and healing after their accident...prayers to all of you.

Sav a Lot is cheaper than Sharp Shopper since this area has both. Sav a Lot seemed to have less selection and the quality didn't seem as good.

Hooray for you and other shoppers in your area! So glad that you are able to find all these blessings. It is kind of sad but 'boo' for those of us in areas where we don't have opportunities like this due to shipping costs, lack of warehouse hubs, etc. I've been working to build up a pantry for hubby and me in case of hard times. I'm a retiree grandmom now but raised my kiddos to try to always delight in their friends' good fortune and not feel slighted by God if they didn't have the same wonderfulness. Times like this are where the Rubber Hits The Road for this mama, hahaha. I'm always so tickled to get to see the wonderful buys you can find for your family, Jamerrill. You are a great shopper!
Hi Jamerrill and family! Wow I can see why you really like Sharp Shopper.We have Go Grocery here, but their prices are going up 😕but some items are still cheaper than other stores! I wish it had more .99 cent items. Oh and eggs here are 4.98 a dozen and more in stores, but I have chickens and there still laying good for us this winter we get around 2 dozen a day. God has blessed us. Thank you jesus!!!!
Wish we had a Sharp Shopper! Such good saving on many necessities. I’m happy for those that have access to take advantage,especially those with families! It’s hard these days for everyone but stores like this make a world of difference!

I love to watch you shop Jamerrill. It reminds me of the good old days but to us the prices would have been still high. I remember when our store had 4 loaves bread for $1. We could get a soda for .10 and an ice cream for .5. I would sell pop bottles to buy candy. I love when you shop and can take care of so many. God bless you all. 💙🙏💙
I only have five kids left at home as well. I shop at our discount store called Grocery Outlet, and I do see similar things to your store but the discounts are no where near what they used to be. It’s fun to see what’s available in different areas!

Think u are correct :best prices.Was a pretty good shopper in healthier ,younger days. Son does most shopping these days. Is kind enough to stop by after a 12 hr.workday, with still his home, pets etc to take care of. Think tonite the 4 pack of micro Mac and cheese is pushing 5.00. And then there's more.......Not struggling as bad as some seniors. Peace be with you and yours. Woops,such a variety. Haven't seen many of these items. Grandma H age 83 🥰🌷

I absolutely love this store. I try to hit it up at least once every month to 2 months. Bargains!! I am near the naval base in VA, so the trip is about 2.5 hours one way. I always get the Jimmy Dean frozen sausage tubes. The ice teas, orange juice, fruit drinks and coffees in the refrigerated section as well as the yogurts. They all come home and into the freezer. I have gotten 50 pound bags of wheat berries, oats, barley, wheat bran and sugar at great prices. I forgot the name brand, but they are pickled beet hard boiled eggs, not in a jar, but in a sealed bag, ready for snackin. They had 8 in the bag for $0.50. We bought several and put them in pickled beet juice in jars and kept them in the fridge. Normally 2 eggs would go for $0.79. Wheat berries are hard to find in 50pound bags. You can order them online, but shipping costs, yikes! Snacks...they always have some kind of chips and organic ones as well and you can find them for $0.50 a bag or 3 for $1.00. Their canned goods have great bargains as well. That whole store. If you go, put at least an hour aside to really walk around and look at the products because inventory changes. I picked up during the summer strawberry flats for $8.00. Made preserves and froze some for smoothies. We always walk out with 2 carts full, full, full. When we get home, we start vacuum sealing, freezing, processing and preserving. Can't be beat with their prices.
I have SLE and sometimes it is hard to find the motivation to get in the kitchen. Now I put on Jamerrill and get my food prep done, on good days I get extra cooked for the not so good days. Thank you so much.
Ok the way you shop is lovely. You buy in a way that you save money too. Idk I have fun watching you save money while getting fun stuff and things that will get used

My cousins are buying my childhood home off my dad and one of them was worried about our area being more expensive than where they are now and I went “dude we have sharp shopper. If your grocery bill doesn’t get cut in half, you’re doing it wrong”

I got a 60 box of eggs at Walmart this weekend for 20 bucks. I thought that was expensive. Wow 30 bucks. Crazy. I told the kids they were golden eggs.
I love Sharp Shopper. It saves me so much money. I get Celestial Seasonings tea for 99 cents that is 3.49 in the regular grocery store. We also get a lot of ice cream.

OMGosh we need one of those stores in MN. Those are prices from 20 years ago. I would go wild in there. You are doing awesome only spending roughly $1300 a month for 11 people. I don't know if you watch Dougherty dozen or not but she spends that amount a week at a time plus more. I can't even watch her anymore because of all the horrible junk food she buys for those kids to eat day in and day out. Your are a very normal size treat. Maybe a pudding here and there or a cookie but it's not a ton of sugar and carbs every single day. Growing up we always had something for desert after dinner. My mom grew up in a family of 12. They always had desert. So even if she couldn't stand the liver and onions they were forced to eat from time to time she would know she was getting yummy desert after. My mom said a pie would be cut into 12 slivers and you could either have pie or icecream but not both. My dad was brought up when you have pie you gotta have icecream. So of course my mom would cut the same size pie into 4 slices cause it was my parents me and my brother. So because my mom always felt cheated with a tiny sliver of pie and she wanted a large piece she cut into 4 and we always had icecream or coolwhip or whatever. No wonder I struggled with weight all my life. lol Seriously though you do awesome at shopping for deals on snacks and stuff at this store. I would love to take a trip there just to spend $400 for months of snacks. We eat snacks even if a few months past recommended best by dates.

My my brother has a smoker and he smoked that chicken rotisserie chicken in the smoker and they came out really good. I loved it. Loved it. Loved those rotisserie chicken or a bacon in the oven. Those are so good.

When I lived in Harrisburg, PA we went to Sharp Shopper. Now in Florida I go to a discount grocery, but nothing like Sharp Shopper.

Went to Sharp Shopper over the weekend . Spent $87.13. I looked up the same foods I bought at Walmart would have been over $240.00 same food. I got 97% of my food was name brand. I can't afford name brand items at my local stores. Jamerrell , I think you got the best deals before I got there.

Been to the one in Ephrata PA!! Been about 3 or 4 times. It's a few hours away for me but man oh man it is worth it. I think a lot of churches would do well to go there and stock up their food pantry. Thank you for showing this place to us!! I love it there! The staff at the Ephrata PA location are super sweet as well!
Love your videos even though I’m an old retired grandma with no kids or grandkids close to us. Wish we had a Smart Shopper close to us. Texas ( my area) has no discount or bulk food stores. It’s a hour to the nearest Sam’s or Costco. I’m a member of your private group and use your large family recipes to cook for the homeless and Bible Study groups our ministry provides for. Every time I watch your Sharp Shoppers videos I seriously think about making the drive to my nearest one (about an hour and 15mins away)...not sure if it would save me money at that point with gas costs but still :-) Love your videos!

I have been going to sharp shopper for about 15 years and I can honestly say, it fed my 3 kids. I couldn’t afford no where else. I would go once a month cause it is an hour away
When we go see our Son in Western NY, I am planning to stop at Sharp Shoppers on our way home. I can't wait! I wish we had a store like this in Arkansas. I wish we had an Aldi close by. Our nearest one is 100 miles.

They just yesterday dropped the 60 egg box to $19.98. I'm here to tell you we RAN and bought it out. Again, lol, I wish to goodness there was even a scratch and dent here or discount, like there was everywhere when I was a kid! They would rather just throw it all out and that is horrible. So much food is great WELL past the ex date! $1500 is $34 per person per week. DUDE. You are killing it!

My area is opening up a FREE grocery store. So people who need to get feed but have no money can come get some without feeling embarrassed like if they went to a food pantry.

The closest one to me is 2 hours away but it will be worth the trip to save that kind of money on groceries.
I am beyond jealous of that store. The closest thing to a discount grocery I have found in east Texas get the most random things and it’s nothing like this stuff. Mostly specialty items and overstock restaurant supplies like individual condiments.

I love seeing your Sharp Shopper videos. I live in the Chicago burbs and the prices at SS are not drastically lower (sometimes higher). We have some great smaller markets near me where we can get incredible buys on produce, pasta and rice. The Jimmy Dean roll sausage at SS was a GREAT buy! I think I would be too tempted to buy snacks if I had one near me lol. I go to a few stores (Naperville Fresh Market, Caputos and Shop and Save) to get most of my weekly deals and compare the ad prices. When I get good buys on it, I will sometimes can or preserve.
I'm with you JF !! I live in Schaumburg area and try to find the best buys at several stores. It used to be that we would plan our menu and then look for the items on sale at different stores. Now we buy bulk proteins and sale produce then plan meals around that. Plus we're empty nesters so there's only so many things you can make without freezing tons of it or eating over and over. 😆
I live in Kankakee County and berkots is the only small grocery store where you can still find deals. Aldi prices are comparable to Walmart so I do most of my major shopping at Meijer. I miss Cub Foods and Ultra Foods lol

Fortunately we have one in Pennsylvania about an hour and a half away. Went there last year thanks to you. It is 30 minutes from an outlet we shop at too.
