In the future, all presentations will be like this. There's a few people on TH-cam who know how to teach and present new information in a clear, coherent and logical sequence, and this gentleman is one of them. Many thanks!
Wow - that's so interesting that to learn that microtubules form the cilia of the epithelial tissue in respiratory system. I knew one of its function was to be a track for motor proteins like kinesin but never put the two and two together. The microtubule is usually found in the cytoplasm. Aside for being a track for motor proteins, it is also involved in the mitotic spindle (like you explained) and mechanical support. Some relevant components of the mitotic spindle are the centrosome, astral microtubule, kinetochore microtubule, and overlap microtubule, kinetochore, sister chromatids, motor protein, and spindle pole. It is a stiff, hollow, and the largest fiber that resists compression. I also learned that protofilament from your video is a row of a tubulin subunit and two of them is a heterodimer graph. The circumference of tubulin subunit is called the lamen. A common motor protein that a microtubule carries is called the kinesin, which is head, taiil, and stalk. The kinesin carries the transport vesicle across the kinesin using the energy from atp which becomes adp and p.
Well thank god there's rescue after catastrophy - you had me in the first half. I love the naming scheme developed for this particular subset of literature, it's so apt.
On a certain level, we have a drug store in our microtubules, the neurochemicals that show up in flow: so dopamine, norepinephrine, anandamide, endorphins, and serotonin. If you were to try to cocktail the street drug version of that, right, you're trying to blend like heroin and speed and coke and acid and weed- and point is, you can't do it. It turns out the microtubules can cocktail all of 'em at once, which is why people will prefer flow to almost any experience on Earth. It's our favorite experience. It's the most addictive experience on Earth. Why? 'Cause it cocktails five or six of the largest pleasure drugs the microtubules can produce. We're all capable of so much more than we know. That is a commonality across the board. And one of the big reasons is we're all hardwired for flow, and flow is a massive amplification of what's possible for ourselves.
Actually this is the video that I was searching for from a long time. This is a masterpiece and your explanation is 10/10 and I am going to download this video to the phone's internal storage. 🤩Indeed the best video on this topic till now on TH-cam. My words will fall short if I want to thank you for making this and I really understand how much work it would have been to produce such an amazing video!!
I am an Intelligent Design believer. How would mutations account for this type of development? Where is the information created that tells the organism that a new, never before existing cell is being formed and it needs to know what it is, how much to grow, shape and proteins needed. Sincere question.
Good description of what they're doing, but HOW do they know WHEN to start forming, and WHERE to start & end??? And how on earth did they form before the first living cell existed? (And the same question for the thousands of other molecular machines necessary for cell-life)! And if they DID form before the first living cell (as they ARE necessary for cell-life, correct?), then WHY aren't they found forming on their own in nature today?
when does GTP bound tubular hydrolyze? is that just a matter of time and when the mitotic spindle reaches kineticore it releases kinesin13 to destabilize it to prevent continued lengthening? and it would happen (the degradation) if xmap215 and other MAP catalysts that sped up lengthening were slower??
I am a teacher an i make online content... I used some of the points of your videos in my work is that ok with you. desperately looking forward fro your response.
is this from a dream i had or did ROGER PENROSE really say he thinks there could be tiny black holes inside microtubules? in aninterview, but i only heard it once. or am i dreaming
I disagree with you basal bodies have the same structure of the centrioles so it’s 9 triplets with no central MT, it’s supposed to help students but it confuses us that’s not good
This is where God comes into your brain and makes you immortal. But there's a down side, you will come back as a worm that a little boy cuts in half 10 times, and he will proceed to set all segments on fire and put your charred remains into a washing machine. But after that you come back as a tree that gets cut down by a logger.
If the world had more people like you, it would be a better place. You make a difference, Dr Igudia thank you for curing my Hepatitis B and introducing your medical products to the worlds

@@gregoryallen0001 tiny black holes would be an impossibility but microtubules are definitely interfacing with a very fundamental aspect of the natural medium which is contingent upon the properties of spacetime like you mentioned. I think the answer of where consciousness comes from lies in the properties of empty space since an abundance of energy propagates through the void of ‘absolutely nothing’ at all times (through time). The question is where and why do quantum fluctuations (waves) occur which manifest into energy at that very fundamental level and come into existence in this realm of spacetime in the first place. Wherever that is; (if it can even be described as a location perhaps even beyond time) is where all living consciousness derives from. I believe our microtubules are interfacing with the energy derived from the medium empty space itself. I hope I articulated that in a way that makes sense. I think all of humanity should be tackling these types of topics regardless of expertise to see if intuition plays a role.
Wow, I am amazed by the amount of useful information presented in just 7 and a half minutes. Thank you!!
I think for the first time I understood the concept so clearly leaving no confusions behind
Thankyou so much 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Very well explained and everything was to the point without any complications.....it was really helpful....!
Let me guess.. sience assignment
Very straight to the point and good explanation too. You literally summarized a whole lecture slide in just a few minutes. Thank you

Thank you for explaining an important topic which i found nowhere on the internet
THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH! I think I understand it now- it took me ages to figure out but your video explained everything in just 7 mins!

this video is SO HELPFUL. thank you so much. your way of explaining and of visualising is supreme.
thank you so much for putting your efforts for us .. lots of love and blessings
Thanks! I’m glad you liked it!
God bless you for helping me prep for my biochemistry exam
a masterpiece of coherence! explanation 11/10 points. Thx so much :))
Thank you so much. Your video cleared all my doubts, plus it taught me something new!
Amazing video, the amount of information and how u explained everything so clearly!

Thank you very much. Great production values and super informative both in the presentation and the visuals.

Good explanation.... I loved it... It was very clear. Nice demonstration too
Outstanding - thank you !! What is the speed range of building cell microtubules -- how fast are these processes? Many thanks

imo it's like those structures are EMERGENT from simple interactions or combinations
like fractals
0:47 why is it “en vitro” instead of “en vivo”?
Very helpful channel... thank you so much 💓
Why will gamma ring complex attachment at minus end speed up polymerization? I didnt get it.
To form the first ring of the microtubules is the hardest and slowest step so it skips that, that's why it's faster with a preformed gamma ring
In microtubule originating complexes if the centriole is a "9+0" structure, then how does it give rise to cilia or flagella having a "9+2" structure?
They are completely separate structures.
I request you to do many more videos ...ur explanation is awesome .....❤

Amazing!
awesome video. 10/10
Great Video. Thanks
INCREDIBLE thank you!!!!!
wow great explanation
Glad you liked it
So how could these things have anything to do with consciousness?
Well, if consciousness has anything to do with cells then MT's certainly play a part, right? MT's are very important to maintain a cell.
Hikari.
stuart hammerhof (sp❔lol) was an anaesthesiologist who got more curious about the SHUTDOWN of consciousness.. prolly you already know this, apologies
