Hey guys I was the Exosister player on the video, its my 4th time play in this tournament and reach top 16 first time so I got little nervous, I think I could do better in both game against FK SE. I will try improve skill and bring the deck back on top 16 next week hopefully.
I play Exosisters too but I feel like it's little we can do to beat Snake Eyes Fire King. They just have too much going for them. I think we have to go first or have something like D Shifter to stop them.

I don't think I could ever bring myself to root for Heroes or Runick. But while I hated Tear during their format, I really enjoy their playstyle and how balanced they feel now.

Not really. Tears has been nerfed so much that it is now a very balanced deck with a high ish skill ceiling so cheering for it to win is totally normal

i think thats the enjoyment behind ocg banlist nerfing consistency instead of power. i still feel whenever fighting against kash they usually easy to break and often brick but when shit happen that ariseheart animation always give me chills

Decks that prevent the other player from playing, not by setting up a good board, but from floodgate them to the point they literally cannot do anything. THAT'S toxic. Literally some of the most fun matches I play are trying to outsmart a good end board. Or I could go against stun, they normal summon fossil dyna or jowgen, equip moon mirror shield and auto win the duel.

Is there a legacy reason why the damage step disallows activations? It feels sort of arbitrary to me. Not complaining, I’m just genuinely curious why it’s a thing.
There are some decks that use the damage step to start their combos (like Graydle , red-eyes). But it's now relevant because fire kings can abuse that mechanic.

Dkayed can you do a no banlist tournament but the cards to be unlimited would be from the MD banlists only so cards like dragoon and pot of greed is still ban, because I wanna see how strong each deck without banlist like spright with toads, Tear ishizu and more.
I watch pretty much every Meta Weekly and this one and last week has tons of players I've never seen before, and getting deep into the bracket. I honestly think it's the fire decks carrying them rather than the players themselves because jfc there were so many misplays here. Sending a negated Ash and field spell at 20:48 is a perfect example. Who does that?

I really hate Tearlaments, it was a mistake. Is a deck that has every important card in the list and the Ishizu cards were banned cuz of Tear and after that is a deck consistent enough to make the comeback every time a format is dropped. Fire format seems to be getting a lot of hate, but in all honesty I think SEFK is the most interactive version of fire that we've seen. It doesn't put up hard negates and can brick more than other versions of the deck. It is a lot more fun to play/play against imo.
