Thank you so much Olu for your videos they are so helpful love them so much.Btw my wife and I we love your brand new house so much Congratulations for your progress. Be blessed you and your family!!!!
It must've been tough for you for 1st year of winter coz Nigeria is always hot I have heard. I and my wife are planning to move to Moncton Canada from India. In your video, it looks fun playing in the snow. thank you for sharing.
The best part of winter, it’s a lot of fun. That’s how you survive. Go skiing, sledding, snow ball fights, snow forts, ice skating, staying inside by a fire and drink hot chocolate while your boots and socks are drying.
Hi it’s my first time watching one of your video and Wellcome to New Brunswick I’m From the North Est of the province and you did a great job of explaining things for people that don’t know.
Thanks a lot for this video... hearing about d flu vaccine was awesome cos I was thinking about how to beat flu during d winter. You are a darling...hoping to see more videos and meet you soon🥰
Thanks. Flu vaccine is advisable, though some don't take it, I find it helpful for myself and family. We still have a bit of running nose, but I guess it may be worse if we didn't take the flu shot
Thank your for your help. I am watching your channel for two things : First is to have more informations about New Brunshwick where i want to immigrate Second is to perform in English language. I try to understand what you tell watching your videos
I lived there the winter of 1991. It snowed 6 feet in 2 and a half days there that winter. Moncton is right in the snowbelt. Course if it snowed like that in texas they would be screwed for a whole year.
@@o_oluwasanmiTo those watching this video, whatever you do, don't turn the heat off for an extended period of time to try and save money. When I was in college, the guy living in the apt above me turned his heat off when he went home for the Christmas holidays. The water in the pipes froze and the pipes burst and the water came through my ceiling. This is not uncommon when it gets very cold and the pipes are not well insulated. And if you are in a rental unit I assume you will be liable for the damage.
Hi Geneille. It depends on the brand and the store you go to. Boots and jackets can range from $100 to about $300. The jacket I am wearing is about $100 from Walmart.
@@o_oluwasanmi One tip people should try and do is to wear a hoodie in the winter when possible that way you will always have a head covering. Get in the habit of wearing winter coats with a hood and also always have a toque in your pocket so you can use it if need be. As a person who got frostbite when I was a young stupid student who went out in a jacket without a hood (and no toque) I can tell you tempting Mother Nature is a fight you will not win. Extreme cold is also insidious, it creeps up on you, you'll not know you have frostbite until it's too late, because the skin loses sensation and fools you into thinking it's warm.
wear 2 pairs of pants or at least long underwear if you cant handle bulky snow pants. new immigrants and teenagers tend to look at me like im crazy when i tell them i got three pairs on, but im always cozy
Back in the 90's and start of the 2000's winter seriously started real early November... now it's kind of late and weird... every year i just hope winter doesn't continue t'ill June ffs 🤣🤣

What kinds of jobs do we can do in winter in NB?
What temperature do you leave your heater on during winter
We put it at 22°. But that depends how comfortable you feel at 22°. Some people do less than 22 or more than.

Very informative ofcourse!!! Is there somewhere where you can go to have the winter tyres put on if you can’t do it yourself?
Hi Tee. There are mechanic workshops where you can change tires. Costco and Canadian tire have workshops as well
