- Elizabeth Asantewa was a young school girl, who was given the honour to present a bouquet of flowers to the former president Kwame Nkrumah. Unfortunately for her, there was a bomb, which exploded and injured her.

We Ghanaians honours the dead not living. Nkrumah was never allowed to come home after he was overthrown but the the battle for his dead body was a battle between Ghana and Guinea who hosted Nkrumah till death.

I studied History as elective at Secondary, her was in the the books. It happened in 1964 when Nkrumah changed the country to one party state and made himself president for life.

That bombing attempt happened in Kulungugu, in Upper East- not Accra.
Nkrumah and the big six were never on the same platform after the they spilt and he formed CPP.
Millions didn't die, according to the commentary, about 55 were injured, that's all.

The young girl who was to present the flowers to Kwame Nkrumah when the bomb was exploded was Nkrumah’s pioneer girl. She was about 8years old.

The little girl who was to present the flowers which the bomb was implanted was between 7 and 8years old, I can’t be precise. She was Dr. Kwame Nkrumah’s young pioneer girl. She died instantly. Again, the names of the big six she mentioned were not part of CPP which was Nkrumah’s party, so they couldn’t have been there with Nkrumah.
