Angrath was my first planeswalker when I introduced to MTGA (or even MTG as a whole!). With only Hearthstone as my CCG experience that time, finding out there's a card-type as unique as a Planeswalker was a peak of excitement for me. It was Arena debut 1.0 launch and my go to deck was your modified Rakdos sac, featuring Rekindling Phoenix and Reassembling Skeleton into Makeshift Munitions. Wasn't the best in ranked, but the synergy it has was what hooked me into MTG. So, ye, seeing Angrath in thumbnail gets me up. Big thanks for the nostalgia.
I was on the kroxa deck at the end. I think I should have used the celestus to discard draw more but I was pretty worried about waste not triggering. I think that card in the mirror match is so strong and I don't think I could have won that game with the cards I drew (or had to discard. Maybe should have destroyed the key to the archive instead of playing lloth because of how that game was not a creature matchup and more of a mana and card advantage game. Thanks for the great content.

46:09 You could have played the rat first causing them to discard a land giving you 2 mana which would've allowed you to still play Angrath. That way you have two blockers for the spider and get to keep your planeswalker
Really like baleful mastery in discard decks. Can either be a decent 4 mana removal spell, a efficient 2 mana removal spell when against aggro or when they are hell bent you cast it for 2 and let them draw, them use angrath or some other discard effect to make them discard it right away. Rankle can do that too which makes him even better than he is anyways.
I'm down to 119 Mythic WC's and 286 Rare WC's since LVD started making Historic Brawl Videos. I'm just glad it's MTGA and not a bad vice. LVD content is great.
I've definitely used Stormfist Crusader in these types of decks before and it was one of the last few cuts. It's probably better suited in 60 card formats, as people tend to have more cards in hand in 100 card formats making that effect less necessary.
at 46:30 you could have played rat before the angrath... waste not would give you the 2 mana back and it yould leave you with 2 blockers for the spider protecting the planeswalker...
Like the deck and was wondering if you minded a non deck related question. I opened a pack this morning and got 20 gems instead of a rare card or a wild card. Has this happened to anyone else?

Around 46:10, you could go burglar rat into Angrath to block the spider, as you mentioned on the following turn that the rat was free.

I was so confused at the pre-combat Blood on the Snow in match 2 until I realised that Blood on the Snow has more than 1 mode.

I really like running howling golem in my discard piles. Symmetrical draw effects aren't symmetrical if you're playing discard!
