I'm a simple man I see LVD and historic brawl together, I click on the thumb up. Well I click on the thumb up for every LVD video but I click harder when it's historic brawl.
It is unfortunate that people scoop fairly early in historic brawl, but I don't blame them for doing so- there is really no incentive to play out a losing game since Arena is really stingy AND it isn't exactly fun to lose. Cool deck though!
I really like the closing line about how the arguably weaker commander choice lets the deck get more favorable matchups. I wouldn’t have thought of that!
I'm pretty sure that if your opponent (match 3) removes Cast out (or other similar exile effects) even after they choose to send their commander to the command zone, they can get it back to the battlefield. Its a weird interaction, but I've seen it happen before.
Ended up in a research spiral and you're right when it comes to newer cards like Banishing Light, which interact differently with commanders compared to Oblivion Ring. Although if the opponent were to replay their commander that got exiled, the Banishing Light would lose track of it.
I would love to see more sagas for Satsuki to feel varied. This the kind of commander that should have partner; say with another enchantment themed commander that isnt in G/W. Like Bant would be fun.
I'd personally add a pollenbright druid. It's not an enchantment creature, but it can proliferate your whole board or put a +1/+1 counter somewhere which is super synergistic. This deck also has quite a bit of graveyard returning meaning you can recycle the druid over and over easily. Maybe it's not worth it but I feel like it's a great fit
@@LegenVDI know Ixalan's Binding is more expensive removal mana wise, but isn't it much stronger due to the fact you can completely lock out their commander? Is it banned actually?
So funny interaction with cast out even if they put their commander in the command zone if cast out gets destroyed they still have the option to put their commander back in play for free lol 😂 it doesn’t work with all exile effects just specifically cast out
Intertesting. I tried making a deck with Satsuki, and it failed miserably. I even deleted it today. It's really all over the place, and not stable enough for my tastes. But I'm curious to see itf it worked for you.
I'm trying to build a shrine/saga deck with Go-Shintai as a commander, I wonder if it would be too split up and if I should just choose either for a more focused deck.

That's definitely not how it's supposed to work. If it is like that in arena it is a bug.

I think the older cards can not oblivion ring but the ones that came after that

I considered Evolution Sage, but it feels a little superfluous when our Commander already completes sagas so quickly.
