For anyone who has a Sizzix Big Shot Plus, you can use 2 pieces of cardstock at once, so you can make 2 copies of whatever you're cutting. When die cutting small items, I use my mini die cutting machine & sit in front of the tv cutting over and over again. I can hold the small machine in my lap, or use it on a table, and because the plates are so small it goes fast for each run through. I often use masking tape to adhere the dies together to fit the size of the plate & then it's easier to move to the next piece of cardstock.

Thank you so much for sharing these tips, so very helpful to me. I am recovering from a very bad hip replacement infection where I spent three weeks in the hospital and two weeks in rehab. So I need to send out a lot of cards with very little money to spend. This will help me so much in I can cut in my craft room and assemble in my hospital bed. It has taken me many weeks to get back to crafting but your videos have been so enjoyable. Thank you again!

Loved the faux alcohol ink paper. Thanks so much for telling us what you do with all your cards. Leaving on car windshields is brilliant. And store clerks could use something extra to smile about, I'm sure. Once I get moved into my new stamp room, I look forward to blessing people like you do. Thanks for all the great tips and showing us your "Much love" cards.

What a smart lady. Thanks for all the great ideas. I belong to three different craft clubs in my area. I know many of my paper crafty friends think that you are a Craft God. That is why God put you on earth. I had to go back a couple of times to see just what new machine you were talking about. I did see a Gemini II in the corner. It will be interesting to see what you have to say about it. Thanks again for being you.

I just had to come back to this video and thank you. I watch many videos on the tv while crafting, which doesn't allow you to comment. I picked up some great tips. I make tons of cards in bulk for Cancer patients last year over 5000. So I'm sure you can imagine I am in the middle of large batches almost constantly. Thank you for sharing

As soon as Altenew put their sticky stamp mats out for sale, I bought enough to fill in my MISTI platforms, top to bottom, and it works much easier for me than magnets or tape or other thin sticky mats. I WISH they came in a size to fit the MISTIs without cutting … (hint) … but even having 2 pieces of the sticky stamp mat in the platform works better than the magnets or the other sticky mats or the tape. I just take it out when I stamp red rubber stamps. TFS.

I am swamped with craft supplies. I used to work for a law firm and was lucky enough that they paid me to make the staff Birthday Cards, so I was able to try every card making technique I could. Since 2012 though I had to stop working due to illness I'm still card making but just for friends and family, I'll never need to buy another craft item for years (though I do get some of the things you use)

Oh, and I totally get you and the joy of giving away cards you create for your own personal therapy (I noticed myself getting antsy if I had a couple of days without even a few stolen minutes at my craft table 😂). And I love your „guerilla card giving idea“! So far - apart from the obvious occasion, giving - what I have started doing is giving a set of „all-year-round“ cards (e.g. a couple birthday and Christmas cards, mother‘s day, father‘s day, thank you, get well ect.) to people could use cheering up, who do a hard job well (teachers, post people, nurses…) and so on but I will try you idea, too. Another piece of inspiration 😊

Great ideas ❤. I too run out of mental energy after making a card, so I have a stash without sentiment. I usually have the larger die cut word but I can’t get myself to finish off with sub sentiment. I “beat” myself up mentally for being lazy but it feels like having to climb a mountain. Love from Australia ❤

This was a super video, from you sharing the process you go through to mass produce cards, your multi-tasking techniques to make the process keep moving smoothly & efficiently and on through the completion and giving processes. I for a long time have known that you make a lot of cards & send a lot of cards but even then I had no idea the depth you dive in giving & sharing your handmade kindness. I can't begin to imagine all the smiles you add to the world, well done Jennifer McGuire, if only you could mass produce you, the world needs more YOUS. I can empathize with your struggles with menopause. Peri menopause has been kicking my butt for the last few years and I truly did not expect how hard it would be on my body or mental health. Every day has been a new adventure in one way or another. Stay strong and know that there are people in your corner. ❤

It does my heart happy to know you took time to care for yourself. Truly. We all treasure you and we do know that you're a real person and not just this phenom card maker who brings joy to US. So God bless you, Jennifer. I'm also glad you covered this topic. I'd love to have a good stock to work with. And when I watch the videos and you have these baggies of tons of die cuts ~ just makes me envious and sigh. So I reeeeeeeeeeeeeally appreciate this video. Take care of yourself!

I have a friend who always has a tough time on Sundays. I found out she loves, loves die cutting. She is very organized and she will LOVE this. Neither one of us are extremely crafty but she loves doing the die cutting. The fact you showed how to organize will thrill her!! Thank You very much!!

I really appreciate this video because my favorite thing to do is assemble die cuts but I HATE the actual die cutting. So tips to help that part of the process go faster/smoother are always appreciated.

I LLLOOOOVVVVEEEE YOUR TUTORIALS!! Thank you SSSSOOOOOO MUCH FOR ALLL OF THE IDEAS & TECHNIQUES!!💜💜💜💜 (I've also posted similar comment on another channel but I thought you'd both appreciate these tricks/ ideas I've come up with over the years. - How I came up with them, i don't know! Kings of crazy - burr totally useful - I believe.....
FYI.... I have found that either cheap make-up sponges or knockoff/non-name brand dry weave sanitary pads - or even the regular sanitary pads work- with a bit of stamp cleaner [or I also like a mixture of alcohol and witch hazel] - and it works like a charm to clean stamps! - & it keeps the stamp solution dauber/sponge clean & uses MUCH less cleaner [whichever one you choose to use] AND because of the size & absorbency, you can clean large size stamps VERY EASILY & all at once!!! ⏩➡️ ALSO - if you need a temporary cutting surface & you don't have your self-healing cutting mat handy - you can use the cheap [thick-ish] shrink plastic sheets from Daiso ([dye-so] stores with good quality, Japanese products at massive discounts) to cut on top of! You have to move the project around a bit though - because it is not self- healing. & because they are clear, you can put either white or black/dark, or even grid/graph paper underneath so that you can see the cut portions/apertures better. Sorry for the long message... - but I thought I'd share a few ideas I've learned that are kind o odd weird, but really useful/ handy - in my opinion!😜😑

thanks for all the tips. I love to mass produce cards. I'll have to try filling up my plates with other dies, especially sentiment ones. I love my Empress machine and regularly use the regular and mini plates. I will have to look into getting the large plates too. I appreciate all your videos.

So much great information…and something I would enjoy doing as well! I have that need for therapeutic repetitive tasks, and keeping things organized as well. I love mass production of cards. My only barrier is space right now, but I realize this is a transitional time for me and things will improve…I’m trusting God for that. I love all your tips. Though the one about gluing die cuts while on the treadmill would make my family laugh. I’m such a klutz! Luckily, everyone finds it an endearing quality. Back to your videos, I know you must feel blessed to have so many shower you with much deserved complements. You work so hard for your subscribers and we appreciate all you do! Whatever life threw at you last week, I hope it’s resolved and you are in a better place right now. It’s important to fill our own health tank. Your transparency helps others do the same. Again, thank you for all you do!

Thank you for sharing your process. I always find your videos helpful and interesting! I found some little bins at Target that they labeled as drawer organizers, I saw sorting bins. Very inexpensive too. See you Saturday at the Altenew retreat! I downloaded my PDF files tonight and cleaned up my desk, tomorrow I gotta do the pre-homework. Thanksfor all you do , Jennifer!
