    Thank you for this delicious soup recipe. It is very good. I added 1/4 c quinoa, sm pinch rosemary, 1tsp cumin, some parsley and cilantro. I like kale, so I added a whole bunch of it. I don't do tomatoes but did add the tomato paste just for the depth of flavor. With this soup and watermelon I am getting stronger everyday.

      I like Kale in soups. I feel that it holds up better than a green like spinach which can get really wilty and sometimes have an almost slimy texture that may not be appealing.

    Just came across your page, also just made that dish, and added some okra and sweet potatoes, very tasty.

    Feeling like my iron is low after not having meat the past 2 weeks. I'm making a recipe similar today but with quinoa and leeks added!

    What's material of your cutting board?

    • @SavorySaver
      @SavorySaver  ปีที่แล้ว

      It's Corian Countertop. I love cutting on them but they can be a little rough on the knife blades.

    any tricks why your kale is still green? Mine is browned and looks ugly.

    • @SavorySaver
      @SavorySaver  ปีที่แล้ว

      Maybe it cooked too long? I always add my Kale for about the last 10 minutes of cooking time.
