NEVER stop talking about the ZRL win! I love how Kosta is so pragmatic, adapting his advice to what works. If I ever start taking this biking thing seriously I'll look him up!
I asked the 4 hour question and this is really useful and interesting thanks. I am going to follow the advice given as i have just been smashing it so far 😊 It's good of you to ask a question on behalf of ordinary cyclists out there!
It’s a great question mate and one that I thought would be interesting to find out 👍🏻 Glad to hear you’re smashing it, let me know if you’ve got anything else you want me to ask 😃
Again you are keeping it within the realm of reality of the everyday person. This is what sets your podcast apart for most others. You both do an excellent job of explaining the processes and how they work and what is best and most beneficial to the everyday rider. Great job both of you. Always learning from you guys keep it up.
Guy, I’m really blown away by your comment - thank you so much mate! I’m glad you found it useful and I really love this community so I’ll continue to hopefully help where I can 👍🏻
Thanks Ollie, super helpful and interesting video. Appreciate you and your coach sharing this insight with us. Best wishes for the holidays and new year.
It’s probably very similar to what I’m currently on which is 5/7 days a week with a longer ride at the weekend. It changes with the current goal also - I will ask for next time 👍🏻
@ I’d like to give it ago but have loads of stuff going on but will see Can I ask with the Creatine I use it at times but I found it makes me add a little bit of weight did you find the same but I think it definitely helps me race
Thanks very much Melissa ☺️ hope everything is good with you! I’ll try and make some more of these with Kosta, let me know if you have and questions for the next one 👍🏻
@ I’m doing well, taking recovery one day at a time, and keeping the long-term in mind. Coming from an endurance running background, I understand training and fueling but not so much in cycling terms. I’d love to hear more about fueling for different ride lengths and fasted riding! 💞
@RuffRides I'm actually doing the Zwift 12-week 'Back to Fitness' and it is a great intro to structured training that doesn't overwhelm with 2 workouts per week at a duration of 30-45mins each. I then sprinkle in Crit races, depending on how I'm feeling (I do commute on the bike everyday, too). I think if you're new to training then this type of plan makes consistency achievable and along the way you will be able to identify weakness and strength that you can then build on.

Haha I’ll always have that win mate if nothing else!! Looking forward to seeing you in those elite races mate! 👍🏻

Thanks Andrew, much appreciated mate 👍🏻 Hope you have a great Christmas and best wishes for the new year! Can’t believe how quickly it’s come round 😃
Would love to hear how he would plan a realistic 6h/week training plan

@ another question is about how much/and if eating sweets/sugar affects training result? Thanks!
Great video!
Very kind of you to say ☺️
great video mate really liked that one excellent job
Thanks mate really appreciate that 👍🏻 hope you’re all well and the end of the ZRL season went well! Are you going to ride FRR in Jan?

I’ve just started really mate, I’ll let you know what happens with the weight as this is something I’m slightly worried about 👍🏻
Great video and good information 💞

Glad to hear Melissa ☺️ Great question again, I’ll make sure I ask
The best tip is don't do Zwift plans. Pick three workouts at most. (On top of base Z2 rides) Scale them as you improve.
Good tip 👍🏻 Similar to what Kosta mentioned, I think there are some decent workouts on Zwift but the plans do seem a little thrown together!
