Features I like about the RF206:

Shortwave Works Well.

One Hundred and Ten Presets.

Solid Construction.
Room Filling Speaker Audio.
Low Cost.
Back Light can Be turned Off.
Features that could be Added or Improved on:
Eliminate internal RFI so Medium Wave Reception is Better.
A model that runs on D cells.
Overall, this Radio is a Solid Value at around $30 USD. Any higher, and you may want to look around for other choices. This radio does some things great, and others not so much. If FM/BT/MP3 and a Shake of Shortwave on the side sounds good to you, then the RF206 should be on your Shopping List.

Love this one, great sound! I'd be curious to see this one against the RetekessTR638. Maybe the RFI issue would be different. Still a nice radio.

Hej Todderbert thanks for your review the Raddy RF-206 is an interesting radio, and also the RF-886 pocket radio looks very nice take care Todderbert and have a nice day.
I like what Raddy is putting out, but they really need to send out some beta test units before going full production. No excuse for these DSP based radios to have un-addressed RFI, or weak FM/VHF/WX reception (this radio doesn't, but I'm getting that on the RF886, which somehow has really good _AM_, at least for what it is).

As someone who remembers and 70s and 80s, I really like this form. But every radio like this that I've seen (except Sangean) leaves the back of the handle unfinished and open. I recognize that this is a minor thing, secondary to performance and interface, but it bothers me.
I'm looking for a portable with stereo and AM antenna.
