The approach signal your friend was asking about at the beginning is called Rolling Junction. Following the track to the right and past that signal goes down to the port on the PHL main line.

@@trc2005 Every now and then but it's pretty rare. I mostly run port trains and the WATBAR manifest to Barstow, or shuttle jobs building and yarding the stack trains.
