Thank you! They double stack the loads as a way to reduce transport costs per container. Compared to the conventional single-stack loading, the use of double-stack trains enables faster processing of containers at terminals, less congestion in the rail network due to more containers per car, and more efficient container trains due to less requirement of locomotives, crew, and fuel consumption per container.
Good video man, I subscribed to ur channel! We are in peal season at UPS worldport in Louisville Kentucky so it’s cool to me to see the UPS trailers on the hot Z trains lol
Thank you! They were about 9+ hours late this day. They were 7 and a half hours late out of Needles, but they got delayed even further at around Ash Hill due to a Maintenance of Way Form B that was happening that day, causing one track to be out of service and at least 8 westbound trains were stacked up as a result, including Amtrak 3, which they were all released after I had caught that one UPS Train about 10 mins into the video. And Amtrak was the 3rd train in that line of westbounds.
👍😎great train action , ty
Thank you!
great video 😍😍❤❤
Thank you!
Really enjoyed your video. But why do they double stack the loads on the railroad cars? Don’t see that here all.
