i love that sarah christ is the only person/character that is allowed to dismantle the chosen into his realism. like we all KNOW that he's the closeted nerd and mom's basement type, but only sarah can highlight that. the chosen also has a genuine aura to him everywhere else, but with sarah christ that also gets dismantled
I think everyone else gets the Chosens delusion and decides to humor him, It's just that Sarah is the only other character socially broken enough to not care.
It helps that he is genuinely impressive every now and then, that plus his commitment to his own bit plays as really amusing to a character so essentially cynical and grim as Sarah Christ
