Thanks for this great video. You have completely turned me unto these rules. It took me about 10 minutes to come up with the stats to try out my new Ancient Sumerians. Will let you know how it went. Then maybe LOTRs.
Without having done much testing on the matter, I believe you could take the miniatures and scenarios from any wargame system and play it in SHC. "Whatcha gonna do Brother, when Squad Hammer Core runs WILD ON YOU!"
Modeller here. Love the paintjob you did on the Faithful Cultists, It’s really nice to find someone using them. Any chance you will be doing a video review on the Grim Horizons system they were built for?
Depends entirely on schedule, trends, and my own personal inclinations, but I'll stick it on the list! Love your models btw, they're very easy to print and paint up great.
I absolutely love your channel would you ever consider recording some of your campaigns? I loved cement city season 1 and the 5 parsecs from home setting you came up with. Best of luck!
I've been preaching Hammer of Democracy to my historicals group for a while now. Great system, just had to hash out Pacific theater stuff myself which was easy enough.
Really happy to hear that! I've been thinking about it and I think one of my main goals with this channel is to get people playing all these indie systems, so that's super encouraging.
Ok, as an amateur, budding writer, this is something that is both fantastic to have been introduced to, and potentially awful, lol. My Five Parsecs from Home campaign was heavily narrative based, and I have ended up writing tidbits of unique lore for different races, gangs, corporations and just expanded it all greatly. And you... You just introduced me to a way to expand the universe of my game through actual game play without any real limit. Saul..... What have you just done to me, haha! Fantastic video as always my friend. I have a tabletop game to look into now.
You should do a video on Chrome Hammer Ascension, from Nordic Weasel as well. I am enjoying the campaign.
Wooo! :D
at 13:16 he mentions it and says it's on the agenda, I know I'm excited :D
It's on the list! As much as I'd love to do more solo NWG, I gotta pace out these big, solo systems since they're a ton of work to review.
@@CementSaul Excellent.
@@paulbenbrook5542 Must have missed it. Good stuff.

Glad it helped! It really is quite good at on the fly rules generation.

Loving all of these.... never heard of this one so I have to chase it up
I love professional wrestling... sounds like I'll need to play some narrative wargames... now I just need some miniatures holding steel chairs...
Very nice job. I'm going to officially chage my name to The Ultimate Whammer.

Thanks for watching! Depends on the video, but yes some of them will be like the Five Parsecs review and have a focus on the campaign's narrative.
I like most Games from Nordic Weasel Games. Much fun. More RPG-Like. - By the way, nice car.
I've been preaching Hammer of Democracy to my historicals group for a while now. Great system, just had to hash out Pacific theater stuff myself which was easy enough.
Good to hear! I think the system being able to cater to both historicals and fantasticals is a really strong feature.
Great overview - thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great video as usual. Would you consider making video on Rogue Planet?
Eventually! That's quite a deep cut even amongst other indies, but that book has some wild ideas I'd definitely like to talk about.
Another great video. Looking forward to the next one.
This video is how I'll get my local gamer friends to try Squadhammer. Last ywbtwg video has us painting up turnip regiments already. Thanks again!

Another great episode of visual story telling.
Great looking truck.
Liked, and it would have been Liked even if it was just your MMA/WWE hot take.
The MMA is wargaming and narrative wargaming comparison is professional wrestling comparison killed me xD

Glad to hear! Narrative games fold very neatly into also functioning as worldbuilding and writing aides, its great.
Unexpected Internationale...
You look like a super villain, probably from a Bond film or a borne identity film
