The lead guitarist/songwriter on this Battle Beast album actually left and formed another band, Beast In Black.
Beast In Black has a male singer, but if you listen to their first single 'Blind And Frozen' you'd swear it was a gal singing.
Actually he was kicked out because he didn't let anyone else put their effort in songwriting. IMO Beast in Black couldn't make the same level as Battle Beast has done after his departure. They made really nice show supporting Nightwish in the Decades Tour final in Helsinki. They have great potential but let's see it by their upcoming album.
@@mikkolaine4883 Battle Beast is worse than Beast In Black in my honest opinion. Bringer of Pain had a few bangers, but more average/forgettable songs. Beast In Black's first album has 3 great songs, but all the songs are good and catchy, not a single weak song among them. Also, BIB's 2nd album's both singles have been super catchy hit songs, whereas BB's new album's first single is horrible, doesn't even sound like Battle Beast anymore.

Noora Louhimo ( 6.november.1988 ) is a finnish singer. She came to band 2012. The first singer Nitte Valo was announced to be leaving the band because of family issues.
Love this song and no wonder why Kay loves it too! It just makes you feel pumped up!
I have one request for you: Beast in black - Blind and Frozen. You definitely need to react to that one and I swear you won't be disappointed! 😎
Noora is amazing she has so much energy and charisma on stage. Saw them live in San Antonio with Sabaton. The whole band is great though. The thing in her voice your were referring to is rasp with a little bit of distortion. It’s a vocal technique she has honed in. Then there is the belting falsetto she does. She is battle beast second singer. When she first joined she struggled to get that high falsetto and you can see some early live performance of it. She’s got it in the pocket now, no problem.
I am with you, Kay. I am glad you enjoyed Battle Beast! my current top 3 bands are Sabaton, Powerwolf and Battle Beast. I have seen them live twice and they are AMAZING! This isn't really the song I would choose to get people into Battle Beast for the first time, but what do I know? you guys are among a number of people I have seen that got into them through this song, so, that's not nothing! cheers!
My personal fave BB songs: "Straight To The Heart", "Bastard Son Of Odin", "Out Of Control", "Far Far Away", and "Cyberspace" (the last one is from their first album, different singer, takes getting used to. wouldn't recommend until you have solidified your love for the band).

Battle Beast is a wonderful live band. I have seen them live a few times and they are full of energy and totally solid performers. Great Pick Jay! Glad you like them!

Seconded! I'd even recommend doing a live version ( th-cam.com/video/NdxuY_lb3S0/w-d-xo.html is a great one), they tend to be superior to the album versions. Battle Beast absolutely kicks ass live.

Big time Dio vibe from this song.
It is understandable she is gravitating more towards the power metal bands as power metal is sort of a "gateway" metal genre due to having clean vocals and more melodic guitars, it is just a lot easier to digest over other more extreme metal genres. I personally first got into metal through progressive/power metal style bands and now listen to stuff from almost any metal genre. I still like a lot of power metal though.

Noora Louhimo is an awesome singer, great both pop and rock voice. Lot's of people think BB as their fav ever band, but no they aren't as popular as Nightwish.

This must be the most overrated song by Battle Beast IMO. It's kind of good but not amazing. The singer Noora Louhimo is definitely one of the best female singers in the world and I've also met her once and she's a really cool and nice person. My suggestion and some of the favorite songs by Battle Beast are Bastard Sons of Odin and Beyond the Burning Skies. They are more intense and faster too. Battle Beast also a stunning live band!
While I agree that it isn't the best song, I feel that it showcases Noora's voice very well. Soft and clean to rasp and grit to scream. It's the contrast that brings me back to this song.
I haven't listen through everything they have released (I have to something about it), but I think "No More Hollywood Endings" is a better song than "Black Ninja".

Kay and Jay I can't remember if I suggested Black Widow or Hexenhammer but I look forward to either one. The vocalist Seraina Telli reminds me so much of German vocalist Doro Pesche and the guitars are very Judas Priest-like.
Black Widow is definitely a Judas Priest influenced song but one I forgot to mention is Executed. Take your time, get to all of them eventually.
