Here’s my story: My father used to play this back a few years ago in my teen years. I used to sing for our reunions and shabbats but overtime it started to become like a routine for me. Instead of it being me wanting to sing, it was I HAD to sing or else I would disappoint my father. At the age of 16 I started to rebel against my father and told him I will no longer participate in shabbats. Im 20 now. I have gone astray from God. Let me tell you my life has not been well. i’ve committed many sins and I kept ignoring god as he called out for me. Until now, I can no longer ignore him. I suddenly remembered this song and this song went from just liking the tune many years ago, to me feeling every word of this song because my heart cries out for God. I want to be under his arms. I want to be free from sin.
Amen. There’s power in Jesus’ blood, he, who died for us sinful people. God will forgive you and guide you to the right path. Psalms 139 4Before a word is on my tongue you, Lord, know it completely. A month ago, Jesus gave me the most precious gift I could ever ask for. It was a vision of himself watching me with his loving eyes on me. He looked over at me from where he was sitting in a chair with the most loving caring smile, like he had always been watching me…even before I came to know him. Even more than fatherly, it was a motherly kind of love, not as if to say “what are you doing today?” but “how are you doing?” He really cared about me like my own mother would, I was surprised to see that kind of love. I knew immediately that’s how he watched everyone, with the care of both a father and a mother. He smiled and without moving his mouth, I heard him say “I will never leave you.” A few days later, I had two repeated dreams of that vision, and I heard this verse immediately after it both times: Psalms 32 8I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you. Jesus wants to pour out his heart to us: Proverbs 1 23If you had repented at my rebuke, then surely I would have poured out my thoughts to you; I would have made my teachings known to you. Psalms 25 14The Lord confides in those who fear him. Amos 4 He reveals his thoughts to mankind. Jeremiah 33:3 ‘Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.’ Isaiah 45 I would not have told the people of Israel to seek me, if I could not be found. Jeremiah 29 11For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. 14I will be found by you,” declares the Lord. Jeremiah 10:23 23Lord, I know that people’s lives are not their own; it is not for them to direct their steps. Psalms 37 4Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. 5Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him and he will do this. These verses really helped me move my fear/respect/need for attention away from humans and over to God: Isaiah 2 22Stop trusting in mere humans, who have but a breath in their nostrils. Why hold them in esteem? Mathew 10 28Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell. 10The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. Proverbs 8 13To fear the Lord is to hate evil; I hate pride and arrogance, evil behavior and perverse speech. psalms 86 5You, Lord, are forgiving and good, abounding in love to all who call to you. Jeremiah 33:9 They will be in awe and will tremble at the abundant prosperity and peace I provide. 1 Peter 5:7 Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. When we’ve given into them and been a slave to them in this life, they own us for eternity. In hell, we are on their turf -outside of God’s protection. They hate us. Torture is their game. Torture did not originate with man, but demons. Do not partner with the demon of lust, demon of anger, demon of addiction…etc. These are not just innocent temptations we all have; anyone who has had sleep paralysis has briefly met the demon/s that will own them forever in hell. I just got connected to it one day in my spiritual weakness and I got revived.. at times I see my spirit singing it in a trance, dreams I woke up revived.. The first time I came across this song, I cried, and still cry every time I listen to it. Sister! I started learning Gadol Adonai on guitar just now, and even though, like you, I cant underatand Hebrew, playing along on guitar brought me to tear's. I am going to make an effort to learn the lyrics. Jesus wants me to learn how to sing these songs so I can be closer to him. The book of Psalms is a lyrics book after all. They are to be sung. Hence why they're so powerful when even just spoken.

I received the Lord as my savior when I was 17 years old. He changed my life and I felt the transforming light of his presence in my whole being. He has revealed to me in a personal way many times . Surrendering my life to Him is the most beautiful and transcendental decision I have ever made ..
This brings back all the beautiful memories that I encounterd with the Lord in Jerusalem working as a volunteer in 2007. He showed me so much miricouls that needed to happen in His Jerusalem. I prayed fore a band to begin to sing on the streets there and nowe they sing alover the world. Ith started with a small thoth and dream if this was possibly, ath the last night after many prayers I noticed the young man in my bus and hath to tell him that the Lord wants you to start singing on the streets, and he said yes I nowe, tomorrow I will speak somebody ho is willing to do this also. And here this group of believers is so welnown nowe, and free to sing of ouwer Yeshua in Israel. God hears your dream and being faithful to answer your prayers if your in His will.

I'm Jewish and not a "believer" in yeshua, and never will be. However, I must admit, the music is very beautiful. I buried my father this past week. As he was lying on his death bed in hospice, I played this song for him after I recited the viduy (confessional prayer before death) because he was not coherent enough to recite it on his own. I knew what Ashoov is because in Latin it is convertere and it means the same in Latin as in Hebrew, but English speakers misuse the Latin, the same way Inferno in Latin means Sheol and not a fire pit or Gehenna. Then Shoov means to return also and revertere also and in Greek epistrephō. Then I was making the point one time that μετανοέω =נָחַם and they say repent means to turn and it doesn't in Latin it is paenitentiam . Though shoov el lebab is also paenitentiam in 1kings 8:v47 and the repeated text in 1 Chronicles 6:v37. Though metanoeo in the LXX means Nacham in Hebrew, but the word repente is Latin but is rarely used where metanoeo in Greek and Nacham are used. Sorry for the long comment.

Here’s my story: My father used to play this back a few years ago in my teen years. I used to sing for our reunions and shabbats but overtime it started to become like a routine for me. Instead of it being me wanting to sing, it was I HAD to sing or else I would disappoint my father. At the age of 16 I started to rebel against my father and told him I will no longer participate in shabbats. Im 20 now. I have gone astray from God. Let me tell you my life has not been well. i’ve committed many sins and I kept ignoring god as he called out for me. Until now, I can no longer ignore him. I suddenly remembered this song and this song went from just liking the tune many years ago, to me feeling every word of this song because my heart cries out for God. I want to be under his arms. I want to be free from sin.

A month ago, Jesus gave me the most precious gift I could ever ask for. It was a vision of himself watching me with his loving eyes on me. He looked over at me from where he was sitting in a chair with the most loving caring smile, like he had always been watching me…even before I came to know him. Even more than fatherly, it was a motherly kind of love, not as if to say “what are you doing today?” but “how are you doing?” He really cared about me like my own mother would, I was surprised to see that kind of love. I knew immediately that’s how he watched everyone, with the care of both a father and a mother. He smiled and without moving his mouth, I heard him say “I will never leave you.”
A few days later, I had two repeated dreams of that vision, and I heard this verse immediately after it both times:

Sister! I started learning Gadol Adonai on guitar just now, and even though, like you, I cant underatand Hebrew, playing along on guitar brought me to tear's. I am going to make an effort to learn the lyrics. Jesus wants me to learn how to sing these songs so I can be closer to him. The book of Psalms is a lyrics book after all. They are to be sung. This brings back all the beautiful memories that I encounterd with the Lord in Jerusalem working as a volunteer in 2007.
He showed me so much miricouls that needed to happen in His Jerusalem.
I prayed fore a band to begin to sing on the streets there and nowe they sing alover the world.
Ith started with a small thoth and dream if this was possibly,
ath the last night after many prayers I noticed the young man in my bus and hath to tell him that the Lord wants you to start singing on the streets,
and he said yes I nowe, tomorrow I will speak somebody ho is willing to do this also.
And here this group of believers is so welnown nowe,
and free to sing of ouwer Yeshua in Israel.
God hears your dream and being faithful to answer your prayers if your in His will.

I knew what Ashoov is because in Latin it is convertere and it means the same in Latin as in Hebrew, but English speakers misuse the Latin, the same way Inferno in Latin means Sheol and not a fire pit or Gehenna. Then Shoov means to return also and revertere also and in Greek epistrephō. Then I was making the point one time that μετανοέω =נָחַם and they say repent means to turn and it doesn't in Latin it is paenitentiam . Though shoov el lebab is also paenitentiam in 1kings 8:v47 and the repeated text in 1 Chronicles 6:v37. Though metanoeo in the LXX means Nacham in Hebrew, but the word repente is Latin but is rarely used where metanoeo in Greek and Nacham are used. Sorry for the long comment.
