Wonderful, this is a mass ride, not.a race. Anybody who has ever ridden a Moulton and tried it in a group sprint knows you lose a bike length for every pedal stroke you take while standing up because the suspension bobs so much. The Moulton is not competitive in mass start racing because it simply loses too much of the rider's energy in the full bore standing accelerations that occur all the time at the top level of racing. The Moulton stands a chance in time trial, but not a mass start event.
Isn't it stupid when an international sporting body changes the rules to ban a new idea (small wheels) , i assume the big bike makers didn't want their hold on the Tour de France spoiled by an English idea.
@@2552legoboy they may not be faster but that is why the UCI banned them , Because when Moulton started entering track events they kept winning , I believe the world speed record for an upright bicycle is still held by a fully faired moulton at 51.29mph ,
so not one of them knew how to group ride....keep it tight, move as one, no communication in the group due to them being too spread to hear any shouts....didn't hear anyone shouting "car back" and riding 3 and 4 abreast, then the folding bike rider goes outside to inside risking getting squashed against the kerb if the front rider made a move left....

Love my Moulton. That AM is topped out, no more gears to go, he’d have to spin like a Keirin racer to keep up with a fast group.

Depends the Moulton is the fastest bike ever. Suspension can be tightened

@Kleiner Helfer they are not technically faster but if they wee allowed they would be better at some things than a normal road bike
